Took the LSAT three times; 150, 162, 157. Bombed, cried, cursed, but applied anyways and eventually got into the school I really wanted. I guess sometimes they really do read the resume and PS after all!

Interesting cycle with a happy ending. Dreams really do come true!

Additional info & updates

11/28 - email from my mom that I'm in at American since the letter was sent to my perm address. Mom says the envelop and acceptance are pretty... Pleased to have a positive first result.

12/9 - Georgetown don't want me.

12/10 - WL at Fordham. It's not a no, at least it's not a no.

12/16 - Rejected from Columbia. Not so bummed because it was a long shot, but it does sting... need some acceptances to balance out this feeling.

1/3 - Been traveling, and still traveling, but the quick update is out at UM, in at Temple with $$, WL at BC.

1/29 - Another T14 rejection. I know I aimed high and had a long shot at more than half of the schools I applied to, but getting nothing but waitlists and rejections still does SUCK.

2/4 - Ok.. I'm just about done hearing from the t14 schools which were ridiculous reaches anyways so not surprised about not even being waitlisted. Now is the crunch time as the last schools give me their verdict.. and then it will be the waitlist game which at this point is better news than flat out rejections...

2/5 - I'm the waitlist princess y'all!

3/15 - Thanks a lot Emory for making me wait this long for a rejection. STINGS.

4/15 - Withdrawal from schools that accepted me in hopes for getting on off the waitlists I'm on.

6/18 - FINALLY some good news! Dean of Admis. at Cardozo called- so nice, and I'm IN!

7/14 - EMAIL FROM FORDHAM! TOTALLY IN!! TOTALLY GOING!!!

This cycle has SUCKED. There was a point there where I didn't think I would be going to law school this year. I withdrew from two schools that accepted me in hopes of getting of waitlists- and it worked. The wait was pretty unbearable but in the end it all was worth it. I got into Fordham, which is where I really truly want to go, and so I'm happy and ready to start in the fall.

Good luck to everyone next cycle- my advice? Hang in there, be persistent, and don't lose hope even if it's July.

Just wanted to wish you luck! Where are you serving? I am actually an RPCV, but I am stayed in my country of service. Taking the LSAT abroad was a pain in the neck! We've got some similar schools, but your #s are better. Good luck!

Thanks

Thanks for the congrats. How is COS going for you? Will you get home in time for the winter holidays? You applied early enough that I think you're going to get some more acceptances in the very near future. Still got my fingers crossed for you!

Congrats

on American! You have, by far, the best list of fee waivers I have seen on LSN. Good luck, looks like you'll get a lot more acceptances.

Bummer

I am sorry about Columbia, but I feel your pain, as I got that nice rejection letter from Georgetown. Fordham is definitely an incredible option, so we just have to play our cards write to get off the WL. It seems like they put a lot of people there. Did you apply to BC EA? By the way, I am accidentally deleted your comment. For some reason, I thought I was hitting reply. I am sorry.
