Hello to you! I'm serving in Moldova for about another month and then join you in RPCV status... Good luck to you as well!! Maybe (hopefully) see you at one of these schools....

Seriously thank you. I was really bumming out about Fordham. Congrats on the 163 - that should put you in great shape. I'm going to contact the admissions office and see what the deal is, and ask about switching into their night program applicant pool if I'm rejected from the full time one. After a year, with a certain GPA, you can transfer into the full time program. So there is still hope.... Thanks again.

Congrats!

Yeah, I wasn't too disappointed being aware of the type of applicants they get even for the part time division. I'm not in the CIA or anything. Looks like it will be a tough choice between UGA, American and (hopefully) Emory for me. Are you RPCV? I thought long and hard about doing that. Spent a year in China with another non-profit in '05- '06.

ahh... cos is the weirdest. I'm feeling so detached, thanks to the law school anticipation. I have a week to go, then a trip to Spain and then I'll be home for New Year's Eve. Got the big "R" from Gtown today, I hope you have better luck. Thanks for the confidence... I'm rooting for you too!

Sorry for the delay..

facilities weren't that great, the class I sat in on was pretty disappointing (student-led discussion and all of them seemed completely lost), and I got the impression there isn't a very strong GLBT presence/organization on campus. Didn't apply to BC because I already had two reach schools, Emory and UW, that I was more interested in.

Hey there, You know I really think you should give some thought to American also, especially if you are interested in international law (even more so if you want to do PI). I went to the admitted students days this past weekend and it solidified my decision. They have an AWESOME loan repayment program for public interest endeavors and if you happen to be more of a private sector type, doing well at American seems to yield pretty good prospects...granted, you would have to do quite well (like top 10%) in this economy to get biglaw. The clinical program is also awesome. They podcasted the whole admitted students weekend and I think it's somewhere on their website if you want to hear more stuff firsthand.
