Additional info & updates

Fucked up undergrad...ROYALLY.
I've been out of school for almost 4 years.
Currently working as a Research Associate for a Neurobiopharmaceutical company for 2.5 years.
I hate it... a lot.
Giving law school a shot because I'm quite alright with being unlikable.
I'm thinking about IP law, anyone want to talk me in/out of it?

Can you actually believe that Cardozo offered me a fee waiver? Are you kidding me? Seriously, something MUST be wrong with these people.

Hope you don't mind my asking - when did you apply to and hear back from Kent and USF? I'm still waiting to hear from both, and I'm getting anxious! I applied late, tho.

Thanks. BTW, I work for an IP lawyer and it seems like most people with that specialty are incredibly smart & usually have a masters in something related. If you have a science background, why aren't you considering patent law?

Thanks for the Note

Hey thanks for the note. Congrats on your acceptance. I'll let you know when I hear from USF. Hope we are classmates. Janet

I assist a solo attorney with her practice in san diego. Sometimes I sort papers for 5 hours, and sometimes I get to do research or write a pleading. Found it on craigslist. I think it's easier for a girl to get a job like mine because people are used to seeing women in assistant/administrative positions, you know? But I'm learning so much about law.

Thank You

Hey Seth, Thanks for the note. I was shocked when I didn't get in. I did speak with the Dean and he did encourage me to apply again. It seems that I applied late in the season and basically the seats were full. I'm also looking at possibly moving back to LA and I'm looking at Loyola Law as well. Good luck this year. Perhaps I'll see you next year on campus when you are the pro 2nd year. :) Thanks for the kind words.
