Additional info & updates

Basically trying to out wait the waitlist. I am holding out for Dayton. Any advice would be very helpful. This is my number one school.

7/10/06-called Dayton today to check on my app status...still waitlisted..." we are still filling spots though"- made me feel a little better
7/31/06- Many thanks to everyone who has withdrawn from Dayton. I called them again today... and sent them a letter of continued interest on friday. I interrupted a meeting about waitlist canidates hopefully it will help.
8/3/06- emailed Dayton today to ask a few questions about how many people still on the waitlist and if they were still filling spots....Dayton responded 1 hour later with Thank you we will consider this.... answering none of my questions. FRUSTRATING!!!
8/8/06-After touring Grundy for apartments yesterday I have made the tormenting decision to wait until next year. I really would like to start law school this year but I don't feel strongly enough about the schools I have been accepted into. I will once again retake the LSAT after taking the Kaplan course...hopefully with a better outcome this time...Although I will remain on Dayton's Waitlist in the chance that they show me some love...if I hear from them...then I will go to law school this year.
8/9/06- Called and withdrew from ASL today...now I am really nervous...I have to do this all over again.
8/22/06- got a phone call and a email from the admissions people offering me a seat in Dayton's fall class...I accepted right away and then proceeded to jump up and down and scream...Now all I have to do is move up there this weekend...they really are cutting this close....So anyone else going let me know where you are living

I'm waiting on Dayton as well I called on May5 and they said I should hear something in 4weeks well that went by and so I called again on July 17 and they told me 7-10 day. I still haven't heard anything. I don't know if I'm waitlisted or what. I never thought to ask. They just keep telling me that they are still filling spots.
