12/01 - Noticed many of the schools are failing to send me the "file complete" e-mail, went back and checked each status checker individually to be sure. Still need to get Dean's cert in for Stanford and Cornell.

12/10 - In at Georgetown! Came in a small, ivory envelope. 1 day late for a birthday present, but feels good just the same.

12/15 - In at Cornell. I didn't even think I was complete (I sent the cert to my Dean today to be signed, but apparently didn't need it). Came by snail mail.

12/29 - NYU! Came in a brown envelope, they must have run out of purple. SUCH a great feeling, every acceptance now is icing on the cake!

1/28 - Waitlisted at Penn. Knew I should have written the WP essay.

1/30 - In at the state schools today. Got a call from Texas and an e-mail from UH.

2/17 - Hold email from Columbia and waitlist from UCLA. Also got held like a week ago at Chicago.

2/20 - Waitlisted at Duke. Withdrawing from Penn, Duke, UH and UCLA, as I'll need to know where I'm going relatively soon.

2/25 - Michigan waitlist. Makes 5 waitlist/holds out of 5 for the past month, I could go for an acceptance or two right about now.

2/27 - Waitlist for UVA. Thank you, thank you, thank you NYU. If not for you, I'd be semi freaking out right now.

Grats on your many acceptances. It's a shame that UCLA waitlisted someone with you stats, but you have plenty of other options. UCLA just seems to have a very low tolerance for splitters.
