you are not obligated to update your LSAC GPA with recent transcripts, right? So if you didn't have a stellar GPA this past semester, schools need not be informed, unless they specifically request updated grades. So...don't send them in. As long as your GPA doesn't go from a 3.3 to like a <3.1, you should be fine. You only ever really need to send in just one accurate transcript for each institution you attended to LSAC. Most people only send it in if it helps increase their GPA, if not, don't.
Took some dual credit courses in high school, re-took classes to try to bring up gpa but got same grade (C) and had a realllyy reallllyy horrible semester.
I know that you will be at HLS next year. Just let me know when you need a place to stay. You know I've got your back girl!!
hey, for what it's worth, UC Berkeley and Northwestern claim to prefer students with at least a year work experience out of undergrad...thank you for the kind words, you're going to do stupendous ;) i'm applying to cornell, that's my only reach school. have you considered columbia? keep in touch, okay? :)
What kind of engineering are you? I'm looking into HLS but am concerned abut my GPA (3.13 currently, with 1 year left). Haven't taken the LSAT yet, and I know that's a huge factor, but I've been trying to do research on probability of getting into schools, HLS especially...I'm hoping my electrical engineering degree along with my intern/work experience and extra-curriculars will help me stand out despite my GPA so I've been trying to compare with other engineers applying to law schools...(not a minority besides being a female engineer)
Hey, I am a double major in Electrical and Computer Engineering. I think you're going to need a very high LSAT to slide into Harvard with that GPA. What kind of internships did you do?
I like your persona but I love your chances at HLS. Get even a 172 on that retake and you're IN, no question. Looking forward to possibly meeting you at the ASW next cycle.
