To be honest, I have mixed feelings about higher education institutions. On the one hand, university provides important things: structured learning, the opportunity to try your hand at different fields, meet like-minded people, and make your first useful contacts. Many teachers are truly inspiring, demonstrating a systematic approach and teaching students not just to memorize, but to think.
