Additional info & updates

If you're visiting and don't want to read my copy/paste extracurriculars, in short my academics are well below avg when looked at in totality. However my 3.1 is really the result of my first three disastrous semesters at Cal. I've received only A's and B's since then, culminating with a 3.9 in my first semester of my senior year. Hoping that upward trend pays off. I shat the bed on the LSAT, but a 159 is at least avg. My EC's revolve almost entirely around my experiences in Greek Life. I was the president of my org, and then later VP for all of Greek Life at Cal. I've done work-study for the past two years, and have a lot of community service under my belt all from my frat.

I am also Hispanic, and will be the first in my family to attempt to attend graduate school. My grandparents were immigrants, so that's something I really touted in my essays. I'm incredibly proud of my ethnic background.

Really just hoping to get into Loyola. I want nothing more than to practice in Los Angeles and be near my family. Inshallah it all works out. Wish me luck!

2/24/2019 - First Acceptance! Scholarship is conditional in that I maintain a 2.87 GPA. If renewed each year, total value is 87,000. Not too bad. If anyone knows anything about the housing market in SD please shoot me a comment!

First Rejection! And certainly not the last. From what the grapevine informed me, ASU had a fantastic applicant pool this year, so a fringe candidate like myself really did't stand a chance lol. I will say though, I am surprised at the length of time these decisions are taking. I submitted USD and ASU after Pepperdine, Loyola and Hastings. Yet, I received the former decisions before the latter. Weird.
