ADDITIONAL INFO & UPDATES

Georgetown:
- Did not receive a "feeler" email, so I reached out directly and asked to be considered for aid. Received offer about two weeks after I sent request to be considered; received a confirmation of my request the day after I sent it.
- Able to negotiate original scholly offer up to around $120,000. Received new amount almost exactly a week after I sent negotiation request email.

UT:
- Sent in the scholarship negotiation form, bumped up scholly to about $75,000.
- I was selected to apply and interview for full tuition scholarship, but didn't get it.

Duke:
- Sent email asking to be considered for scholarship renegotiation. Received an email pretty soon thereafter letting me know I'll receive a decision in April.
- A little over a month later, received a counteroffer for $105,000.

Michigan:
- Loved ASW. Sold me pretty hard.
- Asked to be considered for scholarship negotiation. Got an email letting me know my request has been received and they'd render a decision soon.
- No dice. Was told in a very nice email they don't negotiate. C'est la vie.

Chicago:
- Sent in renegotiation form. It was a bit late, and I didn't have the most leverage after having passed a few deadlines that forced me to withdraw from peer schools.
- Didn't hear anything by the time the deposit deadline hit, so I went ahead and withdrew.

Congrats for your acceptances. Did you get your scholarship info for UMic at the same time as the decision or later?

Hey Nelius, just sent you a DM going more in-depth about that, but UMich sent out info about my scholarship a few weeks after I had been admitted.
