meh LORs (acting teachers ... :-/ ... one is from Stella Adler's Grandson who runs her acting studio now, in the theater world that would mean something ... if they took LORs, but in the law school world ... ? )

Additional info & updates

Rain is in my future. Good thing I own an umbrella.

03/24/09 - Finally heard from U of O. Went to L C preview day with mom, LOVED it! Can't wait to start school!

03/07/09 - Recieved financial package from LC. Nothing more grant/scholarship wise, but good sub/unsub fed loans mean VERY limited PLUS loans and won't have to work pt during school year. YAY!

03/06/09 - Accepted at Willamette. For me to even think about them would have had to have been close to full ride. They didn't offer me much more than LC, which makes LC just that much more appealing.

03/05/09 - Rejected from GW. No surprise, kind of was hoping to be accepted part time, but oh well. Went and visited LC last week, love the campus plus have a lot of friends up in P-town. 98% sure I will end up there at this point. Very excited!

02/17/09 - Dinged at ND via small envelope. Disapointed but not surprised. Parents will be happy though :-P .

02/11/09 - Big white envelope from Lewis and Clark! In with 14,000/yr renewable scholarship! Hoowah!

02/04/09 - Phn Call from George Mason. I'M GOIN TO LAW SCHOOL!!!!

And L C went back to "Application Complete" status today. WTF guys?! I do want to go to L C, but can we PULEASE get some assemblance of order here?! You're playin with my heart kids!

01/30/09 - L C "decission processed" on website ... here's hopin

1/9/09 - called and emailed Georgetown to switch to PT consideration. Also submitted for both PT and FT to GW. If I end up in D.C. would be nice to have some assemblance of time to establish myself as would be brand new city with many opportunities outside of school environs.

Yes, the waiting is becoming quite unbearable - I come home from work for lunch and wait for the mailman like some love sick whatever on a seashore. Especially disheartening when I read about others getting phone calls.

Same thing happened with my status on L&C's status checker...not sure what to think, but I am certain that the waiting is driving me nuts. Wouldn't be so bad if it had never said the whole decision processed thing...

Congrats!

Just got the word from L&C today myself with a scholarship a bit smaller than yours but still decent. Finally, the wait is over.

Hey there! I was just checking to see what was new on the Lewis & Clark applications page and saw your profile. How cool, it's nice to see another fine arts student on here! Looks like we are applying at a couple of the same schools, too. I'm in at Mason, as well, but still waiting to hear from L&C and, of course, Oregon. Anyway, Congrats on the scholarship to L&C... I'm REALLY hoping to snag one of those. Portland is my hubby's first choice for our impending change of location. Myself, I am anxiously awaiting hearing any aid offers from Mason, as D.C. would be my first pick, city-wise...

Woops... Update!

My acceptance for Lewis & Clark just came in the mail! Same scholarship offer as you. How nice! Are you planning on going to the preview day?
