Thanks for the encouragement! I'm also married and am excited for the challenge of law school. Good luck to you, too!
You could get in almost anywhere with those numbers and you'll definitely get a full scholarship somewhere! Good luck with your cycle!
I'm gonna echo what has been said above and say that you can get into some great schools with your numbers (I feel I am able to say this because I have been doing excessive research on what our similar numbers can typically expect). Even at a place like Wake or Maryland you would probably get significant scholarship money. And you could get into most T30's with little problem. Just something to think about.
Congratulations about TTU- jealous!! Hoping I just get in lol
To Anonymous- I did send a deposit and if/when I make a decision not to attend the school, I will definitely withdraw my app to open it up for someone else.
Are you planning on Gonzaga? Curious why you did not apply to UW unless of course you went to WSU, then I'd understand, ha. Are you planning on moving your entire family? My Kids are a bit older and wife has a career, so I'm stuck... Good luck!
They sent a letter through snail mail about 2-3 days after my status changed to decision rendered. Then, I received it about 2 days after. Good luck!
Oh great.. Congrats on your acceptance!!
Hey I was just looking at your profile you have a lot of great choices. Just wondering where you're leaning towards
Yea I'm def doing better than I expected. I'll probably end up at LSU their offer was generous and the contingencies for keeping it are next to nothing. In a legal market like this the less you spend the better.
Congrats on the coveted perfect cycle! I bet it feels great to be rid of all the waiting! Good luck at Mercer!
If Mercer had been in Wisconsin or Montana or New Mexico, I would have accepted. I actually really liked it when I was down there (plus they gave me the extra 5k per year), but I just don't think I could deal with being stuck (essentially) in Georgia or going to school in Macon (I'm VERY liberal, and I know it's not). I just got done visiting Washington and Lee, but I think W&M is number one still. Loved the mountains and setting, but the school has less than zero public interest focus and I'm not sold on their new 3L practicum. Still have yet to visit Indiana-Bloomington, and if I like it, I bet I'll be there.
Hey there! Congrats on your acceptances. Zag and Tech both look like solid choices. I'm probably going to go with Tech though since their JD-MBA program seems to jive pretty well with what I'm doing. They also accept the LSAT for their business school. Since I haven't taken the GMAT that's appealing to me. Though it's not official, I'm leaning towards TT.
With a 166/3.44, you'll do great at the schools you applied to, you'll probably get heavy scholarship offers as well. You could have seriously applied to a top 30 school and been safe...something like Washington and Lee in Lexington Virginia.
