04-11-11: YES. Staying in state after four years away in South Carolina. In at NKU. Will send the seat deposit as soon as papers arrive in the mail, and will withdraw from other schools after confirmation. Hopefully the check to SIU got cancelled in time!

04-08-11: Still waiting on a decision from NKU. Sent in a seat deposit to my second choice, Southern Illinois, as a backup plan.

03-03-11: Received notification that a final decision has not been made on my file at NKU and it will be reviewed again after ANOTHER 4-6 weeks. This comes 5 weeks and 2 days after previously entering committee review.

02-15-11: Received an e-mail about in-state tuition at Southern Illinois and turns out it would end up costing me the same as in-state at Northern Kentucky in the long run, which is good to know. All signs seem to point to Southern Illinois if I am not accepted at NKU.

02-09-11: Got 15k renewable scholarship to Dayton.

01-28-11: WVU wants me to know that pooled is NOT waitlisted. I will be re-evaluated at a later date and should be notified of a decision by May 1st... I have been in committee since the 25th at NKU where I hope to go. Supposed to receive scholarship information from Dayton by February 1st.

01-21-11: Pooled, aka waitlisted, at West Virginia. No date given for when file will be reviewed again. Complete again (new transcript) at NKU. E-mail says it will be before the admissions committee next week.

01-20-11: Dreaded it, but knew it was likely... rejected at Louisville by e-mail.

01-14-11: In at Valpo via status checker.

01-13-11: Status date changed at Valpo... too bad it still says the same in review statement it has since the third of December.

01-12-11: Phone call this morning from Southern Illinois telling me I have been accepted. Now listed at under review at Louisville. GPA jumped to a 3.4 after the previous semester and I have notified them of the jump. Hoping they like something in my file to make up for the low LSAT.

01-10-11: Decision rendered at Kentucky - people accepted apparently told so on status checker, so this must be a rejection as assumed. Figured.

01-07-11: Received 50% tuition scholarship at Appalachian which works out to about 15k a year. Listed as in review still at Valpo and SIU. "In review" as of January 4 at West Virginia. Listed as "File Pending Decision" at UK as of January 5. Most likely a rejection there but that was expected. Received e-mail yesterday saying file was in review at NKU, but no status checker login yet...

12-16-10: in at Dayton via phone call. In review at SIU as of yesterday.

12-14-10: in at Appalachian today. With my situation with the Army it is good to know I could go somewhere. Dayton was supposed to call me in "the beginning of the week" if I was accepted. Numbers say I shouldn't worry, but the lack of a call makes me wonder.

12-09-10: Have been under review at Valpo since Dec. 3, just recently complete at a reach (Kentucky), and a safety (Appalachian). SIU just confrimed receipt of my app, however they have urged me to retake the LSAT because I am a point below their median. No thanks. Checking in on Dayton status later today.
