Congrats on Mercer as well! What is your top pick?
I'm not certain, I just want a good combination of rank and scholarship. I am already in debt from my M.A. and a I am not in a hurry to add to that debt. If I have a great scholarship I would consider any accredited university - I like Mercer a lot. If it is going to cost me an arm and a leg (and I'll have to drive a Honda for 10 years) it better be in the top 50 :) Do you know what W&L are doing this year? I know last year they waitlisted almost everyone and then pulled people off the list in small batches - and it was closely tied to LSAT...I wonder if this is their strategy this year as well? If it is - I may as well throw in the towel :(
No I have not actually heard that about W&M but yea between all of the stalking of LSN and TLS forum I have not heard about many rejections. I also had email contact with them recently to update my mailing address and they said that they wont make final decisions unless a candidate it really really strong until March... I don't get that about Mercer...seems like such a great place but it is not well known up here in the Northeast...also they have this great writing program and yet are tier 3....i wonder if their ranks may improve one day? No big deal really. Mine went from Committee Review to Decision Rendered...i got the rejection letter in the mail the same day the status changed.
