Extra Curricular Information

Lived at home and helped my father recover from a stroke as a sophomore, following year had a major skin infection requiring hospitilization, a couple skin cancers removed, all followed by major back surgery. Through all of this still able to graduate in 4 years while making dean's list 4 times. Also through all worked at least 12 hours a week, volunteered for local campaigns and active in a couple student organizations.

It's been a crazy couple years for me and I'm excited to see where I end up next year, feel free to leave me any comments!

2-27-07- I've decided to start updating this as I look through this community if only to keep my own mini chronicle of all of this somewhere. I got notified by USF that I'm complete there finally. If I'm losing my patience now just waiting for files to complete how bad am I gonna get for decisions? Yikes.

3-5-07-I return from a weekend home to find a small white envelope from Marquette and my first acceptance! I'm very excited just to be accepted someplace and am looking forward to getting more from Marquette and more notices.

3-14-07-Another trip home yields big results as I come back and find an acceptance packet from Drake in a big white envelope and an e-mail acceptance from USF saying more is in the mail. 3 for 3!!!!

4-20-07-What a weird week! In the first thing I've heard from them in the entire process, Denver calls and lets me know that I am in there and they want a decision from me next week. Then today I get my decision from Seattle over a week after my admission tracker changed and it's a rejection. I must be the first person on this site with my numbers to get rejected from Seattle...and it stings a little.

Congrats on Denver! The admissions person that I spoke with said they need a decision by Tuesday and the $300 seat deposit is due in 2 weeks. I'll have to mull the decision over this weekend over a few bottles of wine w/ my friends. Good Luck!!
