I worked 10-20 hours a week my freshman and sophomore years, and 20-30 hours a week my junior and senior years.

I am also applying as a GA resident.

11/30- UGA messed up and posted the wrong status online for a bunch of people, I am still "under review" which SUCKS and I am SO UPSET!

12/13- I have an interview scheduled at W&L for 1/15/07, wish me luck! At least that's one school I shouldn't be expecting a rejection from until AFTER Christmas.

12/18- THANK GOD, just accepted to FSU via phone call! Woo hoo!

12/21- Acceptance from South Carolina, came in large (page-sized) white envelope to my permanent address

1/3- Officially waitlisted at UGA = (

1/30- E-mail from Alabama, a decision on my app. will be deferred until the end of April. I am starting to think that I should've retaken the LSAT in December. Crap Crap Crap.

2/10- YESSSSSSSSSSS!!! Online Status checker at UGA says ACCEPTED! Materials are in the mail. I hope it's for real this time!! **Status has been confirmed (2/12)!!**

2/22- Withdrew from everywhere except W&L, Sent my UGA deposit fee in yesterday! GOOOOOOOO DAWGS!

Thanks for wishing me well. I chose not to write any of the optional essays for William and Mary. I just didn't have the time, and I really wanted to get all of my apps in before Thanksgiving. Best of luck!

Thanks for the encouragement AND the insight to the current UGA acceptance status! I'm not too worried at this point, since I've already been accepted to some great programs. I enjoyed 6 fantastic years in Athens, so it's probably best I moved on anyway. It still hurts the ego just a bit not to get that immediate acceptance. Oh well, I'm being wooed by the other schools, so it all balances out! Good luck to you! I'm sure at the very least, you'll be hearing some good news from FSU. They get mega points in my book for quick replies.

Congratulations! I knew you'd hear from FSU soon. The folks in the Admissions office really have been super nice. They market their program very well!!
