6 years of military experience, fluent in Korean, certificate of paralegal studies, and graduated summa cum laude with Master's degree in August 2014. Also intend to apply to UNT Dallas Law, even though it is not listed on this website (new school/non-accredited).

I was too terrified of doing worse on a second LSAT, but I'm starting to regret not taking it again! If I do not get accepted to TAMU or UNT Dallas, I might retake the LSAT in preparation for next cycle.

9/1/14: Applied to UNT Dallas Law through LSAC; $0 application fee.

9/2/14: First time report for UNT Dallas sent by LSAC

9/3/14: Spoke with TSU-Thurgood Marshall Law Admissions rep, who said the applications would be open starting September 1st. However, LSAC does not show any active terms for the school. Follow up call to TSU confirmed that the school has yet to submit their Fall 2015 application to LSAC. I was told to check back in a couple of days.

9/4/14: UNT Dallas sent email saying application was received; provided a username and password to check application status online. No other status indicated in UNT Dallas Law system.

9/12/14: Completed application for Baylor's Fall 2015 class, and also asked to be considered for Spring 2016 class. Baylor did not require an application fee. There is still no application from TSU-Thurgood Marshall Law on LSAC website.

9/16/14: Submitted application to St. Mary's University; $0 application fee. Application for UNT Dallas shows as "in review" on online status manager.

9/17/14: Submitted application to TSU-Thurgood Marshall.

9/24/14: Submitted application to Texas A&M; $0 application fee.

9/26/14: Application for St. Mary's shows "in review" and that decision will be made through surface mail.

10/6/14: Got rejection letter from Baylor. I wasn't at all surprised! Received email from TAMU admissions saying my application is "in review" and decision will be made through online status manager. I'm hoping to hear fairly soon, as this is my top choice.

10/14/14: Emailed one of the admissions people from TSU on getting initial login information for their online application status manager.

10/21/14: I went back and forth as to whether I wanted to reactivate (reapply) to Baylor for Spring or Summer 2015 terms, as I was offered that shot by the admissions department for no cost. I finally decided that it wouldn't hurt to ask for consideration for the Summer 2015 term.

10/22/14: Still no response from TSU admissions on online application status manager login. No change for any of the other schools. The waiting game has been brutal, and it's not even November. I hope to stay busy until more decisions are complete.

11/8/14: Received notification from TSU that my login had been established for the status checker.

12/13/14: Received notification via status checker that I was accepted to UNT Dallas.

1/5/15: Emailed admissions assistant at A&M to see if decisions would be made soon; she said decisions "should" be going out next week.

1/13/15: Received acceptance letter from TSU in the mail.

1/29/15: Rejected through TAMU's online status manager. Kind of annoyed it took them this long to make their decision, but it is what it is. Still waiting to hear from St. Mary's.
