12-18-06: Got the large blue binder from Duke and the acceptance, no financial info though...

12-28-06: Received the small baige envelope from Georgetown...nice personal note from the Dean at the end of the admissions letter...they never sent me any confirmation of receiving my application or that my application was complete though...

1-25-07: Received an email from Boalt from one Edward Tom(no idea who that is) indicating my application had passed an "intial review" and would be passed on to the Faculty Admissions Committee next week...Glad to hear from someone, was getting a little anxious in general, but def. is still very nerve racking!

1-26-07: BIG day, got an email from Northwestern University from Dean Lee congratulating me on my admission. ALSO got $54,000 scholarship from Duke which came in the mail from Dean Hoye

1-30-07: Got the Hold email from HLS...little bummed about it, but I will try my best to convince them to let me in...anyone know what the percentages are after being put on hold of actually getting in?

2-1-07: Put on the "Reserve" group at Columbia, which means I am waitlisted that came in a thin cream envelope...well this sucks....

2-9-07: In at UVA!!! Dated 2/5 & came in a thin cream envelope...I hate how they mix up the sizes on the acceptance. Now I can celebrate this weekend!

2-16-07: In at Penn!!!! HELLOOOO Ivy Leagues!!!! Got a call from the admissions office to flustered to catch a name, they said they would send a welcome packet in the mail...Man another weekend to celebrate...thank you God!!!

2-20-07: Got the email from Dean Tom this afternoon and in at Boalt!!! So pumped about the chance of going to the West Coast!!!! Goes to show the deferrals aren't that bad after all!

2-22-07: Got a call from Ann Perry from UCHICAGO and I am in!!!! Love the windy city! They said they will email me the details tomorrow and send a packet. Very nice personal woman and she seemed genuinly interested in talking, but I was at lunch with co-workers! Sorry Ann!!!

2-23-07: First rejection from Stanford, came in a thin white envelope and was dated 2/15 ...it hurts, but I did not really ever want to or could see myself going there so I am not too upset...

3-1-07: No suprise here dinged from Yale...came in a thin cream envelope brief short note...

4-21-07: Waitlisted at NYU...

4-25-07: Waitlisted at HLS...Hoping I can get in...
