So you're a doctor going to get your law degree? Just curious on what made you decide to do this now?

I don't check here daily. To answer your question, decidedly to be a smarter doctor. No "rejection of medicine" mode, no "crisis of confidence event". :)

I see. It just seems like a huge time and money investment to do for the heck of it. I wish you the best.

Thanks...it's certainly NOT 'just for the heck of it'...it is exciting to expand what I am qualified to do with my accumulated expertise, actually!!

Well said, I agree. Expansion of qualifications and knowledge of big systems and processes, like law, has a kind of utility that doesn't have many equals. I think it is wonderful that you're looking at going to LS. Stay strong.

As long as you can pay your seat deposit online, I don't see any reason why you can't wait until right before the deadline. I'm just pretty sure the two schools I'm waiting on won't give me an up or down decision until after the 1st, when they know just how many seats they need to fill in light of target median scores and how many accepted let their time run out.

That's awesome that you're going to JMLS. You'll have a great time and learn a ton. I wish you only the best.
