U of O scholarship

Yes! The scholarship offer was part of my acceptance letter. Maybe they will extend an offer when they send your financial aid package later in April? You and I have very similar numbers, so I would have expected you to get the same offer as me. The only difference I see is that you applied later than I did, it could be possible that they doled out all of the scholarship money by the time your acceptance came. As people withdraw (especially now that deposits are due), you may have a shot at grabbing some newly released scholarship money, but you might have to ask for it. If U of O would be your #1 pick with $6k in your pocket, then I would recommend letting them know that and also that you have substantial scholarship awards waiting for you at other schools. They may be able to work something if the money is available. I'm leaning toward U of O, unless Hastings surprises me with an acceptance. Best of luck to you.

I called today because I did not get any award letter, either. I was told my paperwork was on its way to financial aid without an award. I was given a heartfelt 'sorry' and then I hung up...my hopes dashed. In other words, I feel your pain. This is my top pick school and Eugene seems like a great place to live!

Where to?

Where do you think you're headed? I am just curious. BTW, I went to CSU; '04 grad.

Good Luck

I think I'm probably gonna end up at DU... What made you withdraw? I have paid DU, Tulane and Catholic deposits. Good luck w/ CU it was my first choice too. I am eyeing a possible transfer if I go to DU.
