amazing we have almost the exact same numbers! congrats on nyu and uva. i basically submitted my apps on 11/22, but my last LOR came in two weeks after that. got the letter from nyu dated 12/23. think you'll go?
Chicago vs. NYU

Well, first off my wife doesn't want to live in NYC. The cost of living is outrageous there, Chicago is a LOT cheaper. From what I hear, Chicago has a more "balanced" political environment whereas NYU is very liberal - I like having ideas from both sides welcomed and also challenged. Congrats on the acceptances so far, looks like you're doing good.

Hey, in UVAs letter they mentioned that I was in consideration for a Dean's scholarship, and it said that they would decide in March. It came in the same letter as the acceptance, a couple of paragraphs down. I think the Dean's Scholarships are like 6%-40% of tuition or something
