Where do you want to practice?

If you want to practice in the NE, I'd stick with Connecticut. If Dallas, SMU. Neither of these degrees will probably travel well for job opportunities, both are regional schools.

I was in the same boat- deciding between Uconn and SMU while working in CT. Uconn in growing to have a bit of credit beyond simply connecticut; their UG is improving quickly as well. While they may not own Connecticut, thanks to all the outstanding schools in the area, you can move about New England a bit. SMU, on the other hand, has Dallas LOCKED DOWN. Outside of Dallas, as far as I can tell, its "sm-who?" In state tuition rocks; hopefully I get off Uconn's waitlist!
