good luck with smu. they give a lot of weight to soft factors in the pt program, and go more by numbers in the ft program

Thanks a lot! I applied FT. Good luck, I hope you hear some good news soon.

And I wish you the best of luck!

Good luck! Maybe I'll see you there next year! I'm not sure if I want FT or PT, I applied for both, so we'll see what happens! I feel like with our LSATs, PT is practically assured. The 75th percentile LSAT for SMU PT is a 160 after all...

Would love to see you at SMU. I am sure you will get good news from SMU soon.

Yeah, the buzz is that they deferred ALOT of students who should have gotten in easily. No one is quite sure what the deal is.

For your kind words. I hope you get into SMU as well. I Know living in the Dallas area you have probably already visited the school and spoke with numerous people in admissions and only thing I would say is that other than calling and emailing them every week, make sure you send them a Letter of Continued Interest. I think that my letter along with my sincere Texas kindness might have played a part. I sent the two instrumental individuals I visited with thank you cards, in addition to my letter and already pretty decent soft factors. All that being said I wish you well. That LSAT score is hard to bypass especially at least for the evening program and with those soft factors.
