Additional info & updates

Going to Cal Western, unless by some strange miracle USD or Brooklyn accepts me..not holding my breath :)

Ok thats funny I got an email congratulating me on my recent acceptance to GGU however I never received an acceptance letter! Oh well at least the loser streak is over.

3/24 Ok got the big GGU packet ooo and a scholarship, too bad there is no way I can afford to live in SF and frankly I am concerned about attending a school on probation...

Ok this is crazy I have been complete at these schools for over 4 months and no notice..come on I know I got rejected just send the letter :)

Looks like Cal Western here I come! Any suggestions on where to live would be helpful, I am planning on staying within walking distance from school.

Yea, I'd love to! San Diego has a ton of interesting things. We can work out the details when we are a little closer, but it sounds fun.

no family either

Fees and loans
Saturday, September 10 2005 at 08:00 PM

Hey, yea, I will be going with AG too. Doing the exact calculations and including the fee, I came up with a fixed rate of 9.19% interest rate over the course of ten years. So, if you can get another fixed rate loan with less a fee, it's a better deal. Or, if you get a variable rate loan and they don't raise the interest rate more then another 4 times in 10 years... it would be a better deal. Who knows. I think I may just go with the PLUS loan cus it's fixed and I can just use a fixed rate for all future calculations. It's annoying they threw in this random loan and mixed everything up.

Sorry about UofA

I've been dinged now for my top three choices, so I know the rejection feeling. Hey, I visited CalWestern along w/ some others, and posted some info on my page. Good luck at UNLV and USD!

I will not be there in May as of now. I am going out to cali in two days to visit Whittier and Cal West. I want to see the actual school and meet people before I make my decision and the payment for Cal West is due on April 1st so I didnt have much time. I am in Beta Phi Gamma it is a local sorority. My campus only had one national at the time and it was not me. Anyhow hopefully ill see you in August then!

Ditto on that...

Yeah, I'm not viewing them as a fourth tier either... In fact, our PoliSci dept.'s resident attny/instructor agrees. I've showed him all the material and discussed my visits, and he thinks CalW is a good school too. Even obtained a course offerings schedule booklet--very helpful, get one of these if you can! Enjoy your visit!

Hey- Congrat on Cal Western! I think I am going there too, although I have yet to decide. Any advice or things you liked about the school?? Where are good places to look to living?? Best to you!

Thanks

Hey- Definitely let me know what you think when you go out there to visit!! Unfortunately, I graduate that weekend, so I won't be able to go. I'd like to live downtown, but it seems pretty expensive, yet sooo fun. If you see any cool apartment complexes, let me know!! Have fun!!
