Additional info & updates

Numbers now correct that my cycle is over. Good luck to all.

All my merit scholarship information is up; I'm declining to post any need aid figures.

====================================================
YALE
I applied a bit late because the application was still not open when I submitted the rest of my applications in October. I ended up submitting first week of February. Got the admit call April 4th. Withdrew 4/30/2012.
====================================================
HARVARD
Very typical KB1 11/10. KB2 11/21. Withdrew 4/30/2012. Class size and competitiveness (as compared to Y/S) were the biggest issues.
====================================================
STANFORD
Call from Dean Deal 1/4. Will be in Palo Alto for ASW as well.
====================================================
COLUMBIA
VCE 1/28/2012. Butler. Withdrew 3/11/12.
====================================================
CHICAGO
In via call from Dean Perry 1/13. Rubenstein via email 2/10. Was incredibly honored to receive the scholarship, but I visited ASW and it just wasn't the right place for me. Withdrew 4/2/12. I hope the Ruby goes to someone more excited about Chicago.
====================================================
MICHIGAN
In via status checker and then admit packet. Very nice note from Dean Z. Received an unusually generous offer for non-Darrow invites: $75,000 over three years. Michigan sounds like a great place, but it wasn't in the cards. Withdrew 1/7/12.
====================================================
VIRGINIA
Admitted via phone call from Jason Dugas. He was very nice and talked about details from my personal statement, then offered to get me in touch with current students who attended my undergrad. Full tuition scholarship. Withdrew 3/11/12.
====================================================
PENN
Admitted via phone call 2/29/12. Having to wait 20 weeks (when their high estimate is 12) didn't help. Withdrew 3/11/12.
====================================================
DUKE
Applied PT, heard back 9 days later. Nice note from the dean on my admit packet. Withdrew 1/7/12.
====================================================
CORNELL
EA application. Accepted very early on with an invitation to apply for a scholarship. Withdrew 1/7/12.
====================================================
UT-AUSTIN
Accepted with a $93,000 scholarship. Very generous. Withdrew 1/7/12.
====================================================
UCLA
Accepted via phone call from Dean Schwartz. Offered full-tuition scholarship! LA would be fun, but UCLA won't be it. Withdrew 1/7/12.
====================================================
WILLIAM & MARY
My second acceptance, after Duke. Pretty generous scholarship offer ($87,000 between in-state waiver and scholarship), contingent on working eight hours a week. W&M is a common landing place for students from my undergrad, and they had a current student call me and chat. Very nice. Withdrew 1/7/12.
