For law schools I am also currently waitlisted for the joint JD/LLB Program at University of Windsor(Canada) and University of Detroit Mercy.

07-27-07 Got accepted to UDM Law, Called to confirm whether they received info for their file. Was told that a letter will be coming next week. I asked as to whether it was a good letter or not. The person told me that I had been accepted. Now just waiting for the letter.

07-30-07 Got the letter from UDM, they couriered it which is thoughtful as mail can sometimes take forever to go from US to Canada even though I am 4hrs from UDM.

08/01/07 Still waiting on FIU. Also, still waiting on joint JD/LLB program for Winsor/Detroit Mercy currently waitlisted.

08/06/07 Less than a week until orientation and still waitlisted at FIU.

08/14/07 Well it took all the way until two days into orientation before FIU said no because they were full. The person I spoke to was very nice and helpful these past couple of weeks. She suggested I reapply early for next year and she would look forward to seeing my application.

08/15/07 Well as of now UDM Law here I come. Less than a week until orientation and I don't even have a place to live...talk about pressure. Good luck to all and should anything change I will post it here.

you're in same boat as me in terms of getting everything together before orientation. I'm waiting to here back from the government about a job. Either way, you cannot go wrong with UDM, they have a great reputation in Detroit.
