I've been told you need to place top 10 in the class to have a chance of leaving the state.

FCSL
Tuesday, January 10 2006 at 07:00 PM

I am not sure, I am keeping my options open until I hear back from everyone. I may be more tempted if they offer me more scholarship money! Do you go to UCF?

Congrats...

I can't remember, I think I got an email acceptance, and then a week later got the scholarship offer. Good luck!

Congrats...

First choice
Saturday, December 16 2006 at 07:00 PM

My first choice changes daily. I'd like to eventually end up in North Carolina, but WVU in-state tuition is hard to beat. Akron has a very good IP program. Dayton also has an IP track. I guess I need to get accepted somewhere before I start racking my brain trying to make a decision :)

Re: Touro
Tuesday, October 03 2006 at 08:00 PM

Yeah, COL may be killer, but I only applied based on their programs. I figure the money stuff will work out - now or 3 years from now. You have a great list of schools yourself - be blessed!

Barry
Tuesday, October 03 2006 at 08:00 PM

Yeah, I got the email about this past weekend and I want to visit but I couldn't make it this weekend. I like Barry and the Orlando area and it helps now that they are fully approved by the ABA. I really want Stetson though but if I don't get in there I will probably either go to Barry or FCSL because I think I want to live in FL.

Hello there. I am not really sure how serious I am about Charlotte, I'm going to an open house there over my spring break and I will have a lot better grasp on things then. I am thinking I'd be more likely to stay in the upper midwest, I'm hoping for Marquette or Creighton, but I really have no idea this early. I see you applied to U of North Dakota....it's nice to see people from further away taking interest. They have a good school, underrated if you ask me. I'm not too far from Grand Forks, it gets pretty cold this time of year, just so you know. Good luck with everything!

Congrats

Dayton? Any acceptance is flattering, but since I'm in closer to home, there's no way I would attend UD now given Tulsa's proximity. Just like you said, the competition in the Ohio market is ridiculous and not worth the risk to me anyway. Any questions about Tulsa, let me know. I'm holding out for UMKC, or otherwise Tulsa's the answer.

Thanks!
Monday, December 18 2006 at 07:00 PM

Thank you for the advice! Any input at this point is helpful. I'm leaning towards FCSL because I have heard countless good things about it. As far as Stetson- while it does 'figure' that the year *I* apply, my saftety school gets ultra-selective (reason: still no idea, why they decide to extend acceptances only to those who probably won't attend because they get offers from bigger, cheaper, much better academically universities) I'm sure you are right. I'd like to thank them for saving me 99K. But at the same time, I still have to ask, what the hell. :) Anyway- BEST of luck with your applications and wherever you attend! Thanks again!

Hey There....The scholarship offer from Tulsa came in the acceptance letter, separate page.

Tulsa
Monday, July 31 2006 at 08:00 PM

Hi, sorry it took me so long to see your post. I see you already got your answer about TU's scholarship info. However, don't give up hope because as you can see from this website, many people who are offered $ will turn it down, thus freeing up funds for others. I would suggest waiting until mid to late March and then call to try to find out if they'll be giving any more $ out.

Just let me know if you have any questions about the Tulsa area as thats where I live and I will be glad to answer questions or give information.

FIU
Wednesday, September 20 2006 at 08:00 PM

Hi there. I was just reading your comment on plus44's page. FIU does take their sweet time with applications. But I found that bugging them a couple of times sped up the process. You might want to give them a call and find out what's going on with your application. Also, I'm pretty sure that you can easily transfer into the FT from the PT should the need arise. I know a couple of people who did that in the fall. Anyway, good luck with the rest of your applications!

Maybe.
Wednesday, September 20 2006 at 08:00 PM

FIU is currently my second choice. My top choice is Miami, so I'm still waiting on that. How about you?

Thanks
Wednesday, September 20 2006 at 08:00 PM

I didn't know that you don't need to take the bar exam in WI, but I'm pretty sure I'm not gonna practice there. Lucky for them, though. Anyway, I honestly think that you shouldn't have a problem with FIU, especially if you're being considered for the part time program. Have you visited there? I think they've just finished up construction on their new building, and it looks great. The school is definitely showing a lot of promise. I'll be there this fall if I don't end up at Miami. I also applied last minute to a couple of schools that are out of my league numbers-wise, but they sent me fee waivers so I figured I'd give it a shot.

Wednesday, January 03 2007 at 07:00 PM

I withdrew because based upon my acceptances I knew I wouldn't go there and wanted to free up my spot for someone else (maybe you). I've been to SD but didn't visit the campus. Not too excited about having to plug an engine heater into my car at night to keep it from cracking under the cold temps. Just me though. Did you consider applying to Appalachian? Given their generous offer it is hard for an "old bird" like me to pass it up and the school has some very appealing characteristics. So from one non-traditional. seasoned student to another - best of luck. Oh by the way, did you visit Ualr? If so I'm interested in a perspective on the general area - one person said it felt more like a prison. ??

Tulsa
Monday, July 31 2006 at 08:00 PM

I would say that is the case for the most part - Tulsa is a very regional school. TU's decent regional rep stretches as far as Dallas I know but I'm not sure about other places. The one thing I will say is that I have been conversing with students via the student ambassador e/m address provided on TU's website and the students I have spoken to have a wide variety of interests and career paths. One was offered an internship with the EPA in Washington, as an example of something outside of OK. I am correlating this to TU's strong energy program, which I guess makes sense because of the strong oil industry in Tulsa and in OK in general.

Tulsa
Wednesday, January 31 2007 at 07:00 PM

I chose Tulsa for several reasons. First, I know I will not get accepted to Oklahoma. Second, I was really impressed with the actual facility and the school surprisingly has a great reputation in the area even though it is a T4. My uncle is a TU Law graduate and is employed by a large firm in Tulsa and says that firms in Oklahoma do not look down a degree from Tulsa. kencade is correct when he says it is truly a regional school; however, I have no desire to leave Oklahoma, so that worked in favor of TU for me. If I were planning on a hot shot law career, I would probably retake the LSAT and try for a better school, but I feel comfortable taking my chances at TU since I have no desire to relocate after graduation.

florida Schools

I figured I had no shot at FSU or Florida. I thought about Florida Coastal, but I never applied.

I really want to go to Nova. I know I am not going to get accepted to UF so that's not even on my list. Coastal would be great too. I havent visitied Barry or St. Thomas or FIU so I'm not really sure about them. Congrats on ur acceptance... I hope I get some or ONE.

good luck
Monday, January 29 2007 at 07:00 PM

from another non-traditional student good luck. i am hoping for Miami as that is my number 1 choice. if not it will probably be between stetson (although i've heard they have been denying a lot of the people they would have previously taken) and loyola - N.O. Have you thought about st. thomas in miami ? also watch out about charlotte school of law i don't believe that they are ABA accredited. did you go to U.C.F. ?

TJSL
Monday, September 04 2006 at 08:00 PM

hey thanks for all the encouraging words.. unfortunately, ahahaha! i did the exact same.. it is horrible!! i shook, cried.. i mean, how is this possible?? i thought i did really really well!!! and i am a very good judge of my performance... ahhh well! i mean, life goes on right? worst things could have happened.... anyways, TJSL sent me a letter a month ago saying that i am a strong candidate but i have been deferred... i have realized, they have a high attrition, and a low bar passage... i am not too sure about them at all!!! also, cal western is kinda the same for me... i would lovee to go to cali, but i just feel like the schools there weed u out hardcore! and i would be better off somewhere else.... FCSL has a sports law program in a nice area.. with my background/major that is what i want (or health law) so i think that is a great fit for me.... i havent heard anythinga bout barry???? if u have any info on it.. good/bad... let me know!!! basically.. i dont want to go somewhere in 'hopes' of transferring.. i want to be happyu at a school.. and i guess, i am willing to wait a bit to get that!! what are your thougths on your schools?!?!? btw. i dont think that T4's are hell holes! i mean, it seems that way on LSD.. but all the lawyers i kno went to T4's, and they all have good jobs!!! i think that if u work hard and pass, u will get a job for sure!!! and u have alot of experience, ur set!!

loyola - n.o.
Monday, January 29 2007 at 07:00 PM

Yes I've looked into Loyola N.O. quite extensively the law school was basically untouched by the hurricane. The school has a great alumni base that is very helpful in recruiting from what I understand and it has a good maritime program (the type of law i would like to practice). The only drawback is that housing in the area can be expensive, but hopefully maybe some scholarship money can help with that. I like Barry also I found their tour very informative and interesting and the professors and students seemed to care about each other and the school. Plus the school does have o.k. placement in Central Florida and in florida in general, so if you plan to practice in FL. it is a good choice. I heard through friends that the only reason it took so long to get fully accredited was a long standing fight between the school (or its board ?) and the ABA and at first low bar passage. I had a friend that graduated from FAMU and he said that Barry also had great benefits (ie. free Bar Prep courses etc.) and that Barry had a better admin. He want to FAMU just to save a few dollars because he already had an established job and to save a few dollars.

barry
Monday, September 04 2006 at 08:00 PM

yes.. totally understandable! great position for u.. i replied to ur post on LSD.. haha;) i actually am considering flo co bc of the sports law program and that is why, after the big 3, it is the only other school i will go to in florida.. i am actually thinking heavily about waiting a year and trying the bitch again... we will see thO! we will see!!! flo co are kinda weird.. the admin, not super helpful/friendly.. but what u gonna do?!?!? i actually would consider western state in CA over TJSL and Cal Western.. but ur right about the attrition.. a reason why i want 155+ in order to live the 'cali' dream!

Tulsa
Friday, October 20 2006 at 08:00 PM

I have a friend from undergrad who attends Tulsa. She has had some personal issue come up both before her 1L and during 2L and TU has gone above and beyond to help accommodate her. I am planning a visit there in the next couple weeks. So I can let you know more then. But from the people I have spoken to from TU (ex. April Fox) they are a friendly bunch, who care about their students. Congrats an all your acceptances!

Good luck!

Thanks and good luck to you too! Congrats on your acceptances; your bio makes you sound like you'd lend an interesting life perspective to a law school class.

Tulsa Visit
Friday, October 20 2006 at 08:00 PM

I was hoping to go visit while on spring break but it just doesn't make since to go now and then go back on the 31st for Admitted Stutdents PreLaw Day. I will be going on the 31st and I will let you know how it goes.

Barry
Friday, October 20 2006 at 08:00 PM

I am still waiting to hear from Barry. I am not sure if I would go there even if I get in because Tulsa is closer to home (6hrs away) and Barry would be a lot further. I guess I will have to cross that bridge when I get there.

Think positive!
Wednesday, September 20 2006 at 08:00 PM

Don't be so sure about FIU sending a rejection. You say you're an older, non-traditional student, and there are plenty others like you at FIU, particularly in the PT program. You have a good shot. Either way, you've already built a list of acceptances that you can choose from.

lsat change
Thursday, December 28 2006 at 07:00 PM

I was referring to the change in policy that allows schools to only report your highest score, thus we are no longer judged strictly by our average. However, the test is changing slightly, they are introducing a slightly revised RC section in June. See LSAC's website. Good luck if you retake.

Tulsa & TJSL
Tuesday, August 30 2005 at 08:00 PM

I visited Tulsa recently and was very impressed with the school. The Dean and admissions staff were all very nice, going out of their way to be welcoming. The school facilities are very impressive, especially the library. I sat in on a class and was actually very intrested! The professor had actually brought cake in for the students bc it was Mardi Gras! The down side of the school was that it didnt appear to be in the best of neighborhoods. But from everyone that I talked to they feel safe so who knows. I was really impressed overall with the school. I would accept tomorrow if it werent for the $$ issue. They have offered me NO scholarship, and I emailed and asked the chances of getting one, they are slim to none. That being the case, I dont think I will go there. I dont think I can turn down the generous scholarship TJSL has offered and living in San Diego would be GREAT! On the downside, I have noticed that TJSL is not the most prompt at returning my emails but when I called I got a response to my questions right away. Good luck with your decisions.

hey

thanks for the nice note. congrats to you as well! Best of luck for the rest of your cycle!

aww thanks!!
Tuesday, January 02 2007 at 07:00 PM

thanks for the congrats.... i think i am leaning toward nccu...i originally was thinking about w&L but i only got offered $13,000 a year and its about 44 or 43 g a year so now i'm not so sure...as far as ular they begged me to apply so i applied not sure if a coutry girl like me is ready for the city envrionment such as little rock...hope your decision process is easier than mine is *sighs*

Re: Campbell
Saturday, December 16 2006 at 07:00 PM

Yes, Campbell is on my short list. I liked the school and small town. I'm not too concerned with the attrition rate, as I imagine Buies Creek is a culture shock for a lot of folks.

CONGRATS!!
Tuesday, February 20 2007 at 07:00 PM

Hi. I am a NC girl living in Orlando,FLA and looking into Charlotte Law. How did you get an offer with Charlotte Law before even applying? I am also looking into Barry's part time program. Any feedback is apperciated! Thanks!

Comments
Saturday, January 06 2007 at 07:00 PM

The comment you left on my page is assuredly a moot point with me. I agree completely with what you are saying. My only point about GPA is that I am disappointed my GPA at a Tier 4 public university is worth about as much as nothing with my LSAT.

Hey!
Tuesday, February 27 2007 at 07:00 PM

Hey! I have not heard a peep from Cumberland since the visit, but was told that I should know something by around April 15 after seat deposits are due. I visited Jones today and was quite impressed. Though a sales pitch, I couldn't help to leave with the feeling that they really wanted me. The ass. dean told me a few times that he was really impressed with me. I told him about my situation with my wife needing a place to attend nearby wherever I go as well, and he said that they would work with her if she would retake the LSAT in June and could bump her score by two points. I am still considering Miami because we have yet to hear from St. Thomas for her. Sorry I wrote a book...but new developments and excited to be getting closer to completing this section of the process. Any thoughts? If you would like to know the schools she is waiting on around the schools I'm already in, tell me. I would appreciate the feedback on which combo would be best. Also, where are you leaning right now??

decisions...decisions...
Wednesday, January 03 2007 at 07:00 PM

I am waiting to hear from Willamette - that could be a "swing" for me since its so close to home. I sent a seat deposit into Appalachian because I want to keep the scholarship offer and there are a lot of things about the mission and values of the school as well as the credentials of the faculty that impress me. It gained ABA approval about a year ago. Which way are you leaning?

Your question
Wednesday, January 03 2007 at 07:00 PM

What impresses me about ASL? What doesn't? First, I've done some reading and they are being viewed as "under-rated". The setting is beautiful and, having had a very "big" career spanning 30 years, fighting big city traffic and attitude, I am ready to live someplace where I can savor the few people around me and also take better care of my own psyche. As far as the school itself, Have you read the faculty bios? My guess is many of the faculty are about my age and looking for the same things I am. I compared faculty credentials between ASL and UALR for example, and ASL came out on top. I am a mission and value driven person. I have little interest in makimg a ton of money (I've done all right financially) I am more intersted in giving back in some way what has been generously given to me throughout my life. ASL's mission and values are congruant with my own. In terms of a legal education, Given their mandatory Summer externships which offer a long line of judicial clerkships, etc. and the school's commitment to each i ndividual student, I believe I will come out of there with the skills and knowledge to be a really good generalist who can practice in a smaller community and take a role as a leader in same. I strongly considered SIU but they wouldn't even offer me in-state tuition for the first semester while I established residency. All because of 2 points on the LSAT. Each of us is in a differnt place and I am in a place where I'd like to be a "big fish in a little pond." As I said, I've had a successful career in business and have nothing to prove to myself or anyone else. As an aside, I wish they'd named the school something else: Appalachian has a certain connotation. My friends are all laughing at me and making jokes about banjos and Deliverance. Frankly I take offense..... If it were named "Western Virginia School of Law", for example and had the same credentials it has today (ABA approval, etc) I bet a lot more people would take note. Too bad... Maybe that is something I can help change. Would love to hear your thoughts on what I said....

Barry
Monday, February 12 2007 at 07:00 PM

The Barry scholarship offer for me was per year. At this point, my first choice is between Florida and Georgia, provided I get into Georgia.

Transfer
Wednesday, February 07 2007 at 07:00 PM

I'm just responding to your posting. I am currently a 1L at Chicago-Kent. I am applying for transfer, simply because my learning styles do not "clique" well with the way they teach at Kent. Secondly, I do not feel their policies are fair. My experience has been that school is MAJOR OVERRATED and there are Tier 4 schools where I could get a better education than the one I have gotten at Kent. I'd be more than happy to share any other information with you, if you'd like to e-mail me.

Re: Barry v. Cooley
Wednesday, February 07 2007 at 07:00 PM

It's interesting how highly you speak of Barry. Is there a reason you withdrew your applicatoin from Cooley? Was that only because you got scholarhsip $$ from Barry and not from Cooley? I thought you'd at least qualify for a 25% scholarship for LSAT reasons. At any rate, I speak as highly of Cooley as you do of Barry. When I went to the open house there, I was flabbergasted at how wonderful and at home I felt. And Cooley, especially with scholarships, is much cheaper than just about any other option. The only problem I have is the fact that I live in Chicago and I'd have to commute. But their schedules are so flexible, I was pretty much told I would not have any issues regarding that. Hopefully you'll get some better news soon. I got into FCSL two years in a row, but I refused to take the $10K per year they offered me. The only way I would have attended there is basically if they'd given me just about a full ride. For me, Florida is nice to visit, but living there is another story. But I guess since you've been there awhile, you must like it. Good luck to you.

That's so stupid!
Wednesday, September 20 2006 at 08:00 PM

I can't believe how FIU is dealing with these apps. It's bad enough that they started deferring a ton of people in March, and now this? Ridiculous. I have to tell you, I know from personal experience that FIU's administration (in the whole university, in general) is the biggest piece of crap. 80% of the employees are incompetent and don't care about the students. But don't let this turn you away from the law school. The faculty is great, and once you're in, you won't be dealing with the idiots in the administration anyway. Good luck!

Nope, did not receive any scholarship from Mississippi College.

FIU
Tuesday, March 13 2007 at 08:00 PM

The reason you haven't heard anything from FIU is because they are absolutely swamped with apps this cycle. Everytime I walk by the admissions office, the ppl look completely stressed with the amount of apps being processed. Apps are at an alltime high this year probably due to: instate tuition, new building, fully ABA approved, nonstop PR push, and now USNEWS T3 status! If you have not done so, I'd recommend that you express interest in the PT program and ask to sit in on a class. hang in there!

Hi
Friday, March 02 2007 at 07:00 PM

Well as of right now its FCSL...I still have 10 more to choose from and I hope I'll have as much good luck with those as I've had with the first two. I withdrew from Campbell. I don't think I could handle three years in Buies Creek. What are you thinking? If you move to North Carolina, Charlotte and the Triangle area are the two best places to be. I've heard Charlotte has nice facilities and the students are happy, but I would take issue with Charlotte not being accredited yet. Best of luck the rest of the cycle!

Thanks

for the kind comments - it's nice to hear that rather than the general opinion about how I would be a complete idiot to choose to attend a Tier 4 over a Tier 1. Hopefully you'll decide to attend TU as you sound like you'd be a great classmate. Tulsa is a great city full of wonderful people. Unless you are a big-city devotee you should enjoy Tulsa a lot.

Good call. Thanks alot! Good luck in FIU. I've heard improving things about there.

Top choice
Friday, December 01 2006 at 07:00 PM

Hey! Thanks! I was dying to go to Columbia, but that was the biggest long shot in history. I'm leaning toward UT-Austin, but I'm visiting the midwest schools this weekend just to be sure. Texas is pricey, and the others have given me $$$. Plus, it's hot in Texas. : ). I want to do Int'l Human Rights (I know, who doesn't say that), and they have a good program there. What are you thinking? I have a friend who went to Ohio Northern and had great things to say about it.

Cumberland
Tuesday, February 27 2007 at 07:00 PM

Hey, I just got into Cumberland on Friday! I am down between Cumberland and Jones $, but I think Cumberland is my better option. I sent the LOI, which you advised me to do, a few weeks back, as well as a letter telling them about my acceptance to the National Dean's List and how great it was....blah, blah sappiness. Anyways, thanks for the advice, I think the letters may have influenced them some...of the people on lsn, I have the lowest LSAT that got in to Cumberland.

Summer Jobs
Tuesday, February 27 2007 at 07:00 PM

Hey, Are you reading my mind? I have been having a conversation about summer employment opportunities with the dean of admissions at Jones today...ironic that you mention it. I asked him about the difference in NALP numbers (2 for Jones and 20 for Cumberland) and whether Jones could offer me the opportunity to attain these types of jobs. He assures me that Jones' placement is on par with both Cumberland and Mercer. What do you think about it? He pointed out the differnce in loan debt also. But, if I could somehow manage to snag one of these jobs, it would reduce the debt difference by a good bit because I would apply my earnings to my tuition each year. Why has FIU been so slow? You have been waiting on it forever!! I hope you get in there. I have only heard good things about it.

Barry / FIU
Sunday, March 18 2007 at 08:00 PM

Thanks for the offer regarding Barry. I am going up for the admit students day on Friday (4/20). So, if I have any remaining questions, I'll ask. Have you heard much from FIU? I called (choked) and checked on app status. They told me it would be about another 4 weeks (about a week ago) before I would get decision. Just wondering if you have heard anything similiar. Eitherway, good luck!

Feb 2007 FL Bar Exam Results
Tuesday, March 13 2007 at 08:00 PM

I just saw this posted on LSD and thought you would find it of interest. Top 5 Florida schools for Feb 2007 Bar Exam Results: 94.4% FIU 88.2% Florida State 83.3% University of Florida 82.1% Stetson 76.6% University of Miami State average: 70.9%

Hey!
Tuesday, February 27 2007 at 07:00 PM

I really like the atmosphere, class size, focus, and facilities at Jones better. Also, I felt like I was actually wanted and appreciated at Jones, whereas Cumberland treated me like I should feel lucky to even get accepted there! I just did not really like Cumberland as much as I did Jones. Also, Jones increased my scholarship by $12,000 over three years, which I just could not turn down. I will be getting my JD for the cost of 1 year at Cumberland, Mercer, Miami, etc.

Barry, Blogging, etc.
Wednesday, January 03 2007 at 07:00 PM

Hi, Thanks for the kind words on my space. I'm wondering about blogging. Is there a particular place or do we set up myspace pages? There are several people on here I'd like to keep tabs on. I agree that the amount of debt we come out with is a key factor. I also agree that applying earlier would probably have been better. Barry will be a great experience. We're all going to be just fine!! Best of luck

Miami for me

It's odd that FIU didn't get back to you sooner. I just noticed that someone got off the deferred list on here, so it looks like people should start hearing soon.

Decision
Saturday, December 16 2006 at 07:00 PM

I'm down to two as well, but Campbell sent their financial aid package and it included no scholarship or grant money. I called and left a message to see if I was still being considered for any money, but haven't received a call back. Pretty much seals the deal that it will be WVU. Have you heard anything from FIU?

hey thanx.. it seems like u will be happier at barry anyway!! i am not sure why u got dinged... i think probably bc u applied late, i noticed that ppl who applied late were auto rejects.. maybe since u already applied and didnt go.. and applied late.. they assumed they were a last resort.. or u werent serious! LOL! have u visited FC?? do u have any info on it?? i would go there for the sports law program... but i am also thinking about doing a sports MBA so i am confused as hell!!! i live in the cold now.. so somewhere warm is ideal!! i hope u get into FIU!!! u deserve it!!! but its annoying how its this late and we are still waiting on schools.. id rather be waitlisted then waiting.. like seriously, i got 7 pending.. reject me already!!!! lol.. i am really annoyed with this whole process!!!

Barry Law
Thursday, September 28 2006 at 08:00 PM

I didnt apply to Barry. I def. wanted something new and I feel like it wont look as good if I went to Barry UG and then Barry Law. I didnt want it to look like they pushed me through or something. But I hear Barry Law is actually pretty good.

FC!

Monday, February 26 2007 at 07:00 PM

It's looking that way. How about you?

RE: Barry
Monday, February 26 2007 at 07:00 PM

Yeah, I just barely signed up yesterday. I'm merrill84. I'm in the same boat too with Barry. I'm still waiting on Saint Louis, but at this point, unless Saint Louis has an offer I can't refuse, I'll be at Barry in the Fall. I've invested a seat deposit, plus paid an application fee and security deposit for an apartment in Orlando. So, we'll see.

Hey there
Saturday, January 27 2007 at 07:00 PM

Probably not going to FIU. Looks like a decent school but the price wasn't right to justify a move to Florida. Thinking hard about Coastal...even sent in a deposit, but I just found out that I somehow got a scholarship here in MN at at school called Hamline that I have toured and like a lot. Where are you leaning towards? Goog luck man

Widener $$$

Mine was full tuition, renewable for 3 years, contingent on staying in the top half of the class.

I'll have a final decision sometime soon, but not yet lol. I saw that Plus44 deleted his account. That's too bad.

My wall
Monday, October 16 2006 at 08:00 PM

I am dying to know how my wall got designated the fighting ring...haha

ahhh!!
Monday, September 04 2006 at 08:00 PM

it is soo annoying how the schools want us to apply super early, and yet they can not give us a friggen decision! i also hate how law school is run like friggen collegeiate football! haha.. yes.. i am bitter.. but, i cant be picky with my stellar numbers!!! FIU should accept u.. but i mean, at least give u some sort of a decision at this point in the process!!! anyways, if u want, add me to AIM we can chat.. i think i finally have it figured out! haha

FIU - Deferred
Sunday, March 18 2007 at 08:00 PM

Hey I see you were deferred too. Looks like a few us finally got something from FIU. I called down there this morning and was told that my file was on hold and being reviewed again. Pressed a little and was told that my file should be out of review in about 2 weeks. Anyway, good luck with FIU and congrats on Widener.

FIU
Sunday, March 18 2007 at 08:00 PM

Am going to Barry unless FIU takes me or St Thomas changes its mind on money. Honestly though, I think the Barry money is all I will get. I would have to get a place in Miami for St Thomas, tuition is about the same, time with family the same, so the scholarship makes Barry much more attractive. It is also a nice campus and I was encouraged by the admit student day. Maybe I'll see you at Barry in August. Good luck with FIU!

hey
Monday, March 05 2007 at 07:00 PM

Yes, I am still considering Barry. Unless something good happens with my pending/waitlist applications, I will be going there in the fall. What about you?

?
Tuesday, February 27 2007 at 07:00 PM

How is the cycle going? I see that you got deferred at FIU :(. So, where are you leaning? Barry?

FIU
Tuesday, February 27 2007 at 07:00 PM

Great! Congrats on FIU! Even if it is partime, it is a great up-and-coming program. They started T3...that would be very hard to turn down. So, decision time huh!

FIU
Sunday, March 18 2007 at 08:00 PM

Congrats on your decision! Jealous, but congrats. Thans for the back and forth on FIU and Barry. Good luck. Wish you well.

FIU Question
Tuesday, June 05 2007 at 08:00 PM

Hey I have some questions in regards to FIU maybe you can help answer for me. I think you should be able to see my email if you can email me it would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry
Wednesday, September 20 2006 at 08:00 PM

Hey sorry I didn't answer your other posts but I haven't been on here in a while. I already attended an admitted students day for FIU back in March, and I haven't heard about another one. I'm guessing that it's for the more recently accepted students (I was accepted in February). Anyway, I won't be attending FIU this fall. I'm currently between Cardozo and Miami. And it really does look like I'm waiting till the very last moment to make my decision lol, but I will know soon. August is just around the corner so I sorta don't have the luxury of putting this off anymore haha. Anyway, best of luck at FIU. It's a promising school and I'm sure you'll love it. By the way, do you know if Plus44 finally got accepted?
