cheeseisgood (2022-2023)

i am currently volunteering at a development NGO in the philippines. it's fun. but good cheese is really expensive. and janky cheese just doesn't cut it for me.

i haven't really updated my profile much, but since i have found it very helpful when other users give more details about their cycle, i will do likewise.

santa clara: my first acceptance! received sometime very early- i can't remember when now.

notre dame: my second acceptance! got a large acceptance packet in mid-December.

minnesota: they called my mom's cell phone in mid-December. they also started emailing me a lot of info.

cornell: applied EA, and was deferred to regular decision.

georgetown: applied ED. they requested to interview me in mid November. the interview took place mid-december, just a few days before the ED notification deadline. not surprisingly, i was held. they said they will mail a decision no later than late february 2010. i am anticipating a waitlist, but am actually quite pleased that they haven't rejected me yet.

uc berkeley: got a faculty review email in mid january. am also quite pleased that they didn't reject me in spite of my not-too-hot lsat score. they will let me know sometime in february also.

uc irvine: my mom received an acceptance letter via snailmail from dean ortiz around january 14th. she emailed me right away. two weeks later, on january 28th, i received the letter here in the philippines.

michigan: snailmail rejection received in mid january. it was a long shot anyways.

ucla: nothing yet

duke: waitlist email, feb 5th. happy to not be rejected. will probably send some additional materials.

usc: nothing yet
