Additional info & updates

1-22-08: As expected I was rejected by Hofstra which makes it 2/2 on Tier 3 schools who don't think I could benefit them. Their loss but I've got all the T4 schools still plus Charlotte is still my number 1 and I'm going to visit in a few weeks.

1-30-08: A bit surprised that B'more rejected me outright. My scores aren't that bad. Charlotte is looking better and better everyday.
I'm starting to get a feel for who and who won't take me.

2-07-08: Well at least NE didn't reject me I guess. Planning to keep myself on the list just to see if I get in.

2-14-08: ACCEPTED at Florida Coastal via packet in the mail. Very strong chance I'll end up there due to their sports law program. I was getting kinda worried there for a bit. We'll see though.

2-24-08: Just got back from a visit to Charlotte Law and I have to say, quite impressive. The new facility is sick and they def have a different more progressive style of teaching that I like. They told me exactly what I needed to do to get off the wait list so I will take care of that this week.

3-28-08: Anticipating decisions from Cal Western, TJ, Charleston and Valpo. Won't know about Charlotte until mid May. Will probably put my deposit down at Florida Coastal unless something drastic happens in the next week or two.

5-22-08: It's basically down to Charlotte and Florida Coastal. While I'm already in at FC, Charlotte is still my #1 choice due to my familiarity and the fact that I already have living and job situations lined up there. I've heard Jacksonville is nice but it's a bit far from everything and a pain in the ass move from DC where I am currently. Was told I'd hear from Charlotte in early June.

6-26-08: I'M IN AT CHARLOTTE! Found out via email. My first choice came through! First one off the waiting list! Going there!

7-17-08: Accepted at Widener's Delaware Campus! Nice big package in the mail. My decision would've been tougher had this come about two months ago but I have already made up my mind though so I immediately withdrew.

Time is running out for me and Charlotte. I wish I could say I will be joining you but the longer the wait is for this wait list, the less likely I see this working out. I\\\\\\\'d have to change all my financial aid and what not. I did send a letter of continued interest a while ago. Anyway, gl to you and hopefully ill hear something back this week.

Congrats
