Additional info & updates

2/14/10 - Got my first acceptance...from William and Mary! No idea about scholarship yet. I only found out from checking the online status.

2/15/10 - Really wonder how my background in the arts is going to impact admissions decisions. Will it give me a leg up at any of the schools?Anyone else been through this?

2/15/10 - Got my William and Mary packet in the mail. I received a Graduate Fellowship plus an additional $3,000 merit scholarship per year.

2/16/10 - Currently "under review" at Berkeley.

2/16/10 - "Decision Rendered" and "Decision Letter Mailed" at U of San Diego. Also "Decision Finalized" at USC. Would it kill them to list the decision on the status checker??

2/19/10 - Under review at Georgetown now. Fingers crossed...I would love to go there.

2/22- acceptance letter in the mail from USC! And another from Emory!

2/22 - A bit surprised, after receiving two more acceptances today, that University of Georgia is holding my application for further review.

2/23 - In @ Washington, St. Louis via email!

2/24 - rejection email from Berkeley. Not surprised but still disappointed.

2/27 - Acceptance letter from USD in the mail today, along with $25,000/year Faculty Honors Scholarship.

3/1 - Decision letter sent from DePaul (via online status check) today.

3/4 - In at UIUC with $30,000/year scholarship

3/9 - Fingers crossed (very tightly!) for a good USC scholarship!

3/11 - Kind of surprised to be waitlisted at U of Georgia.

3/11 - Full scholarship to Temple and $60,000 for DePaul

3/12 - Full scholarship to IUB!

3/15 - Rejection email from Georgetown. Pretty heartbroken.

3/17 - Withdrew from Emory

3/18 - Waitlisted at GWU. This is turning out to be a strange cycle!

3/20 - $20,000/year scholarship guaranteed at USC!

3/20 - Application placed on reserve at Columbia. Kind of surprising. I had assumed an outright rejection. I wonder why I'm on reserve. In any case, I would die to go to Columbia!

3/25 - $20,000/year Scholar in Law award from wustl!

5/8 - Finally got my last decision today (waitlist from Vanderbilt).

Thanks, I was really happy about UCLA. Pretty much my first choice unless USC makes me an offer I can`t refuse (really doubt that will happen, since I am only in their 25% range on the LSAT.) Congrats on getting a decision from them, though... I can`t believe they are taking so long! What is your first choice?

Glad to see USD has gotton back to somebody!! My file has been complete there for over a month, and I have yet to hear anything back...I'm sure you got in with your numbers!

Congrats on USC!

Nope, haven`t heard from them. Strange, I say. Looks like they waitlisted a bunch of people last week, but still no word. I am starting to think that they are just sitting on my application, as it has been 6 weeks now since my app was complete. Anyway. No word from UCLA for you?

Congrats on the USC scholarship!

Hi there. Not a peep from USC, believe it or not. Hard to believe you haven`t heard from UCLA yet either. I just sent in my seat deposit for UCLA, actually, as I love the school, and I am not anticipating that USC will give me a better offer. How about you? You have a lot of great choices... close to making a decision yet or waiting to see how your pending apps will play out?

Yeah, USC is a great school - hard to go wrong with that. I bet you will definitely get some more acceptances before the cycle is over, and therefore make your decision even harder (!) - it may just be delayed since you applied on the later side. I bet you have a very good chance of getting into UCLA. Well, I will be interested to see how things play out over the next month - they can`t keep us waiting that much longer! Good luck and stay posted!!

Bummer about UCLA:( Good luck with the rest of your cycle - I am sure you will be hearing back from the last few soon. (I am finally - as of today - in review as USC, decision pending!)
