Congrats on all three schools! You must love LA! (I do, too). Right now, I think my top choice is UCLA but I'll be visiting all the California schools in March. If I hear good news from Berkeley, I'll likely go there. Good luck with USC!
You still haven't heard from USC?
I will definitely be at the March 15 ASD. Will you?
I'm going to go check out USC tomorrow but I think Berkeley is the forerunner. UCLA was amazing, though. Tough decisions. BTW, I definitely sat next to a Sara at the mock class and went to the student breakout session with a Sara. Was that you? I almost asked but I worried that if I was wrong, I'd look like a complete weirdo. Ha.
I definitely went to the beach on Tuesday. It was awesome! I'm in NorCal now and it's gorgeous. I love this state.
Hey! Honestly, I liked UCLA more. I think they are both great but UCLA has the better clinical opportunities and location. Still, I'd advise visiting USC. Any word from their admissions office? Keep me posted! :-)
Hey, thanks for the note about USC. Have you still really not heard from them? I still haven't heard a word from UCLA, either. Have you made a final decision yet?
Yeah, I think UCLA is probably what you'd choose anyway. I'm still feeling pretty undecided, mostly because I haven't heard any decision from schools like UCLA or Vanderbilt yet. I probably won't get in to them, especially since I applied on the later side, but I'd like to know for sure. At this point, though, USC looks good!
I decided to withdraw since I wanted to give those still waiting to hear and on the waitlist a chance to receive amazing news. I will be eternally jealous of your location. Best of luck! And I'll still be dropping in from time to time to see when you get into USC. I said when, not if. :-D
Thanks! :) Congrats on a good cycle! Let me know if you choose UCLA--I'm almost positive that's where I'm headed. :D
I'm going to the ASD on April 18th. I have officially decided and today I submitted my SIR so... it's UCLA for me! :D (aaah!)
CA resident, SD area. So it's a pretty easy day trip for me. I toured UCLA a couple weeks ago and that's what really made the decision for me. But I want to go to the ASD to meet people and maybe check out the student orgs...
I really want to meet some fellow students when I go there so you should definitely come. :) Would you be creeped out if I added you on Facebook? I'll just leave my email for now so you can contact me if you want. :P
Thanks a lot on the well-wishes...to you as well! Hopefully you get some good news on the SC front, but goodness knows UCLA is a great choice. Nah, I am not holding out for Penn (though, I'd be nice to get a decision at some point.) I'm actually depositing at USC and UCLA...I am up for post-deposit financial aid consideration at both schools (since I had applied so late.) Are you still thinking Bruin? I went there for undergrad, and I can tell you, Westwood is a great college town!
USC baffles me. Seriously? Regardless, I hope you have an amazing time at UCLA. If you're ever in Berkeley, shoot me an e-mail! Best wishes!
Hey Sara, Well, looks like UCLA just tipped the scales for me with their fin aid offer...seems like I will be joining you in the fall! =)
Nearly all my fin aid was merit-based at UCLA...I only got 1K in need-based aid.
Congratulations on UCLA! I'm really hoping to get in there!
