The reason I didnt apply to more top schools is that I wanted to focus on location. I wanted big city after going to college in the middle of nowhere. Also I wanted a more friendly environment with not as much backstabbing and book hiding. I applied to Marquette because my mom went there and was hoping to get a full ride. I got 16K instead. I grew up in Milwaukee and would not mind ending up back there. I also was scarred by college waitlists from the Ivies and wasn't into doing that again.
