Both $$$$ are merit and schools that required an extra application (or page of an app) for one, I didn't bother with...

As far as getting some wait list lovin', I didn't send any "letters of continued interest" or anything so maybe they don't help all that much..or maybe that's why I'm still waitlisted at three schools and why Penn said "nah"..much like how many licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie pop, the world may never know..I think I'm happy enough with ND to not bother at this point

Vandy online status check showed "decision sent" on Monday the 23rd, but no snail mail has arrived yet to actually tell me what the decision is

Just to give you the heads up, Vandy was a waitlist received a week after the status check online went to decision
