Additional info & updates

very weak softs (primarily because I didn't have time). I did start my own Entertainment Company. However, no interns or much volunteer work because most of my time was spent rebuilding my life.

I survived Hurricane Katrina my senior year of High School. That year and the 1st two in my Undergrad was effected by rebuilding my life. My PS talks about that time in my life and explains how it made me a better man.

I have done a GPA & LSAT addendum (1st take was 144). My GPA addendum is to continue bringing light upon my story of Hurricane Katrina and how it effected me. My 1st 38 credited hours were cum. GPA of 2.19. However, I have been on a brighter path ever since then and I think that should help alot.

1-13-11 - New York Law School & St. Thomas University (Florida) has my application "In Review" so hopefully that goes well.

1-14-11 - via status checker, I am IN St. Thomas! Hopefully they have given me just some money because I would love to attend

1-20-11 - I was confirmed accepted into FCSL on 1-19-11 but today I received email stating I was awarded Governor's Scholarship of a minimum of $10,000/yr.....waiting to see exactly how much is it.

2-8-11 - I haven't been updating this lately BUT today I got noticed of being accepted into my #1 choice (Loyola New Orleans) so I am excited. Seems as if they offered NO money so it will be hard decision but being accepted is GREAT! Also, in the last couple days I have gotten a denial from NYLS and acceptance from Barry (very strong option).

2-10-11 - I have cracked the TOP 100 Law Schools as I received an official acceptance EMAIL from LSU! I am thrilled to have a T2 school locked up as of now and looking forward to what my last 3 schools decide and then my decision will have to happen.

Loyola N.O. - I just emailed an requested in oct. They replied and sent me one. They may not be giving anymore out. As far as ST. Thomas goes, mine list the summer program in fees too, but I got standard admissions, so I think it's for everyone. You mentioned you wanted to see if they gave you $, do you think they do this later down the road?

Do you think that St.Thomas is better than for instance Nova SE in the Miami area? I'm wondering which one is better if I get into Nova SE.

Congrats on your acceptances! I was admitted to the STU conditional program. Will likely not participate. Good luck with the rest of your cycle.
