2/08: In at Duke, with Priority Track. Notified by email. Love it! I am very fond of Duke.. small size, nice weather, excellent reputation...

2/25: In at Georgetown. Status checker went to Decision on the 23rd, and got a letter from Dean Cornblatt on the 25th.

2/26: COLUMBIA!!!!!!!!! Holy mother of everything that is holy. CLS has always been my dream school ever since I decided to go to law school. Unless someone gives me a lot of money or the big H calls, I think I'm done. Letter dated 2/24.

3/2: In at UT. Yay! Their ASW sounds awesome (segway tour of Austin! and $200 travel stipend)

3/4: Waitlisted at UVa. Withdrew. Well played, UVa...

3/6: Letter from UT, scholarship offer of $21K in-state tuition.

3/19-21: Waitlisted at Berkeley and USC. Looks like my lack of love for California is reciprocal!

3/26: First Rejection from Stanford. Surprise surprise..

4/3: In at UCLA, got a call from Dean of Admissions. Waitlisted at Penn.

4/6: Placed on "Hold" by WUSTL

4/8: 20K Grant from Columbia. Love it!

4/14: "Released" from UVa's waitlist although I withdrew on 3/4.
Waitlisted at NYU.

4/15: 66K from Duke!!! Aaaaah just when I thought I was ready to enroll..

4/16: Waitlisted at Harvard! Woah really? I thought I was an auto-reject!

4/21: Rejected from UMich.

4/29: Submitted my deposit to CLS. Hells yeah!

Thanks! Its nice to get that first acceptance from a school you'd be happy attending. It makes the wait for NYU and Columbia that much less nerve-wracking.

Congrats on Duke ... my status checker changed to decision on 4/20 so I am expecting a rejection letter in the mail now any day ... did you hear via snail mail? At least I know that I wasn't WL ... I have become the king of the WL (8 and counting ... )
