LSAT improvement

I wish I had magic LSAT advice for you, but really I just didn't study much for the first one & had some bad luck on the logical reasoning section (usually my best in practice, but for some reason I didn't do that well on the actual test). For the second one I started preparing months in advance and took a ton of timed practice exams. My biggest challenge was the Logic Games and by doing what seems like millions of them I was able to increase my speed and improve my accuracy. My words of advice would be PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE (under timed conditions). Also, I know some people that swar by the prep courses. Depending on when your scores expire though, it might not be worth taking again because the scores are averaged. Even though my 161 is almost five years old, schools still look at my average when deciding whether to accept me.

Do you know if they continue to average the score after 5 years? My first score was in 2002. Perhaps it is almost out of the system?

No clue on the deferral. Based on the little info available from last year, it looks like late May is when most heard. But the letter itself simply said that the "hold" list people are looked at before the waitlist. But you're right. It was good to hear SOMETHING but it's still just waiting, waiting, waiting. I think I'll have a second deposit due at ASU in June, so I hope to hear something by then.

thank you!
