2/22 - Waitlisted at ND
2/23 - Application put on hold at Illinois
2/27 - Accepted at Loyola with scholarship
3/5 - Accepted at BC
3/7 - Accepted at Iowa
3/9 - Deferred at Minnesota
3/19 - Accepted at DePaul with scholarship
3/21 - Checked status at Georgetown. Status is now "decision."
4/5 - Called admissions office at UIUC. My application is back with the committee again after being on hold.
4/9 - Called all my remaining pendings. Decisions are on their way. I should have the full picture by next Friday, with the exception of UIUC. Hopefully I'll hear from them soon as well. Also, I withdrew from Iowa today. It's a great school, but with little aid in a rural area. Without the in-state tuition and Chicago connections of a UIUC, I had to drop it. It was tough though.
4/11 - Waitlisted at BU. Rejected at UT.
4/13 - Rejected at GW, waitlisted at Wisconsin. I expected the GW rejection, but I'm a little shocked at the Wisconsin WL.
4/16 - Ding at Northwestern as expected. Oh well, it didn't hurt to try.
4/24 - Waitlisted at UIUC. Very disappointing, but finally the cycle has come to an end.

4/25 - After much thought, see-sawing, and second guessing, I've decided on BC. It's gonna hurt to leave Chicago, but I'm looking forward to new opportunities in Boston. I'm going to stay on ND's and UIUC's waiting lists, so we'll see what happens there. But barring an acceptance, BC Law '10!

Congrats on BC. I had lunch with LUC Deans/alums yesterday in DC. It was really informative and appealing. Could be hot.

I am trying to not make any decisions until I hear back from everywhere. I have some great schools still pending. Out of the acceptances I have so far--I love New York, but I'm from DC--so it's a tough choice. How about you?
