This sight is wild indeed. Congratulations on your solid acceptances. Boutrous Boutrous-Boutrous By Golly
Bergs, I see you've also found this magical site. Congrats on the acceptances. I still haven't heard back from anyone yet. Alabama is a delight
On Loyola: I went to visit this weekend, and really liked it. It's in a great location in Chicago, the facilities are really nice and modern, and the administration people that I've dealt with have been amazing and attentive. I highly suggest you visit the school if you haven't planned on it already. I went this past weekend and my plane ticket was only $120 from DC. I think AA is having a sale right now if you want to check it out! Good luck with your decision and the ND waitlist!
I'm definitely pretty serious about Loyola as well. The location, opportunities, and scholarship are all impressive. I still have a number of apps pending though. We'll see how things turn out in the next few weeks. You in town this weekend?
Good Luck with your decision Bergs.
About ND.. I initially wrote them a LOCI when I was WL'd, and I called a few weeks ago and politely told them I'd need a decision in the next two weeks. The woman was sort of cryptic in her reponse, but I got accepted 3 or 4 days later. I think you have a great shot at ND, but IU and LUC are both great schools. Good luck to you!
They sent me a letter stating that I met their qualifications but in order to achieve their class size of 180, they were placing me on the provisional list and that my application would continue to be considered as the rolling application process continues. I'm not really sure how the provisional list works as far as ranking and being selected from it...we'll see.
