Additional info & updates

** Scholarship money over three years.

11/20 - Was accepted into my first law school last week, Mizzou. Scholarship info to come at a later date.

12/11 - Wow, I have now received numerous communications from Mizzou including a Christmas card. Seem to have very good marketing and business sense. Definitely will be my first choice if not accepted into my top reach school.

12/22 - In at Kent via e-mail. I am sure I will go to Mizzou over Kent, so I will withdraw soon.

01/15 - Waitlisted at Nebraska, received via little white envelope. Said they would make a decision in May. Suprised I was not accepted, but understand they may have some struggles with the UGPA. Oh well, Mizzou is still a better school IMO. Will not be going to Nebraska, since I will definitely put my seat deposit at Mizzou before May.

01/29 - Received scholarship information from Mizzou. Awarded $18,000 renewable by staying in the upper 50% of my class. This has made my decision easy. I am placing my seat deposit this week and withdrawing from remaining schools.

02/17 - Nebraska called last Wednesday and decided to accept me. May offer a scholarship. Weird, because I had already sent an e-mail to withdraw. At this point I do not intend to move back to Nebraska and will continue to plan on attending Mizzou.

Hey! I just received a scholarship offer in the mail from Mizzou as well. The wording wasn't very clear so I am not sure if I misinterpreted it. Did your letter say the amount was distributed evenly over the entire 3 years, or is the amount for one year and renewable dependent upon if you meet the criteria?
