Hey there. My decision was determined ultimately by my Baylor Visitation Day. 1. Lack of diversity. I encountered maybe three minorities the entire day. 2. I want to practice in Houston, and Baylor's placement here didn't seem up to snuff from my research. 3. Regimented curriculum. I didn't like the fact that there were 2L AND 3L required courses. 4. Quarter system. Students reported feeling as if they were constantly studying for finals. I didn't want that added pressure. 5. I was admitted to the Summer Quarter and would have to begin in May. I wasn't ready to commit. 6. Waco. Houston's my home, and I knew I'd be much happier here. 7. Practical approach. Both schools have a reputation for this, and I knew that, in spite of STCL's ranking, it's well respected in Houston and places well here so long as you can stay top half. I just need to stay focused. Hope this helps! Are you in for the Fall Quarter?

Leaning toward Baylor for right now. Since I was admitted for Spring though, I don't have to put down a deposit until June. I'm keeping my options open until then. I'll keep you posted =)
