GWU PT?

No, I only applied FT because I heard that GWU was going to be a real stickler this year with regards to PT admissions. I just marked it incorrectly earlier. Thanks for the well wishes...

Because GWU took a real hit in the rankings last year due to the inclusion of part-time stats with full-time stats in the ranking process, I heard that GWU was going to reduce the number of part-time acceptances this year while also seeking to increase the average LSAT/GPA combo for part-time students. In fact, they even state on their website under faq's that there will be no advantage this year in applying to the PT program, and thus that you should apply to the program that you wish to attend.

Hey, thinking about American myself... if you had applied earlier would you have decided on a different school??

Go Eagles

To the above poster, No, I wouldn't have chosen any of the other schools in my range (SMU, Tulane, etc...), because of their location. D.C. is where I want to be, and I am very grateful that I was accepted at American. I think the nearest school in the rankings that would have swayed me away from American would have been William & Mary or Fordham. With regards to the rest, I feel as though the D.C. location in combination with American's strong clinical and international programs give American the edge. The easy access to internships via D.C., and the ability to make strong connections in the D.C. marketplace during law school, in my opinion, trumps the lower cost of the rest of the 30-50 group. Indeed, GO EAGLES!!!!!!!!!
