10/29/09 - My first decision is from my fall back school. The status checker doesn't say outright what it is, but they put a $200 charge on there which I'm assuming is the seat deposit. They could just be charging me for the pleasure of getting rejected.

More waiting...and nail-biting.

10/30/09 - FSU called to let me know that they accepted me and the packet was in the mail. The other schools' status checkers haven't updated yet. I'm super bad at this waiting thing. In the meantime, I keep adding more schools to apply to :)

11/2/09 - Berkeley application went from "complete" to "under review" today on the status checker. I can't tell you how grateful I am that they email decisions. That way I don't have to wait for the mail.

11/5/09 - Accepted by status checker to William and Mary!! I am SO excited I can't see straight!

11/9/0 - The Duke application has changed to "Under Review" status. Let the nail biting begin! William and Mary's acceptance packet came today and they've offered me a fellowship that would let me pay in-state tuition and give me a $4,000 stipend! I might actually be able to go there now!

11/13/09 - UVA Application is complete and pending review; I hope they get to it soon. I also looked at Lewis and Clark's admissions policy and they say they don't even look at the applications until December. Bummer. I got my fin aid application from FSU today so I'm going to fill that out and see what I get.

1/29/10 - So, with the UVA rejection and Vandy waitlisting me, that doesn't bode well for the other three schools I have pending. Oh well, they were reaches anyway. The more I look at W&M, the more I like it. It's really got everything I want and it's a really good school. I'm leaning towards there more than anywhere else right now. I'll be going up to visit in February and then I'll make a decision.

I know, I think I might be going mad! Nice numbers ;) and congrats on the first acceptance! I feel like once I have one under my belt I'll calm down a bit.

Are you looking at Environmental Law? We have similar numbers and are applying to some of the same schools. I'm really hoping to go to Vandy as their environmental law program is really turning into something awesome. Best of luck!
