Really nervous about application process and my chances. I am also fairly geographically bound as I have deep roots in the NW and want to stay up here to be close to our extended family.

9/30 - I decided about a month and a half ago to take the Oct 4th LSAT To See what happens.. The results will determine whether I apply to Law School or not.

Took my 2nd Practice LSAT and Got a disappointing 157.

10/4 - Took the LSAT.. Not sure how I did but not feeling good...

10/15 - So today I got my official GPA from LSAC and I'm super excited it stayed at 2.82 since it was already so low. now for the LSAT score....

10/27- Epic fail on my LSAT... 150.. I am starting to think about not applying..

12/20 Decided to send out apps even though my odds are horrible..

1/2 - I found out that i got into Thomas Cooley Law.. at least I know that Law School is an option..

4/22 - SO i haven't updated my profile in forever because it was looking like i had no shot.. I sent my info to LSAC on time however 1 of my recommenders (who told me he'd sent it) did not send his letter of rec until 2/18 (3 days after the deadline to 2 of the schools). I only bring this up to let people know they should request more then the 3 or 4 recommenders that are required by most.

anywho. I was rejected at Gonzaga and Willamette obviously with my statistics and the late letter. But yesterday I got a small letter from the U of I (which made me sick to my stomach when i opened it) however it let me know that I was placed on the "Waitlist".. I am excited, hopeful, but realistic about this. If womeone has insight on this process I would appreciate it. I am not one of the people who knew they were going to try to get into law school from the second they started undergrad so my knowledge of this process is very limited. (as can be seen by my LSAT score and GPA)
