It was mainly about synthetic biology and my interest in IP law. But, I addressed the GPA in an addendum, and discussed my academic/life turnaround. I hired an admissions consultant (Law School Expert) to help me through all of that.

What do you think about being waitlisted at BU and not at UVA? Do you think there was any reason for it? our stats are similar to each other

I think Boston might have been protecting their yield. UVA was certain I wanted to go there, and I'd visited the week before I got accepted, so they'd met me face to face. (Also I had a bunch of people praying for UVA, if that's your kinda thing.) Best of luck.
