I like your optimism! I've slowly lost mine. However, a few people were admitted in december last year (ED) so I'm trying to convince myself that there is still a chance

I'm actually from a Detroit suburb, so I'm close to A2, but I don't actually live there. I can't wait to move though. It's a great college town. It seems to me that Dean Z really wants people who show enthusiasm about Mich, so don't give up! You still have a chance for an RD acceptance. I hope to see you next year.

Thanks for the comment. I'm going to play my cards pretty close right now... I doubt I'll withdraw from anywhere until I find out what scholarships I am being offered.
sure i'll keep you posted... but i'm not very confident anymore. I get the feeling that it is a rejection for us...

Yea, good luck with your applications since hopefully that will mean my own good luck :) I didn't write the Why Notre Dame essay which might be why I got the waitlist.
well, ive heard that its pretty difficult for non-residents to get accepted to colorado. plus, i messed up on my app and sent them the wrong draft of my PS. i corrected it as soon as i realized, but the application package was already processed. i'll blame it on that. :P
no, i didnt. apparently schools like you to have their name in your personal statement, as opposed to a final sentence that reads "these are the qualities that i will bring to ---- school of law." whoops.
I did write the ND optional essay. Not sure how strongly it plays a roll. I went there for undergrad and have been in contact with a law professor there recently, so I was able to talk very specifically about what I liked, which I think helped me.
Hey, sorry for the delay in response. ND is prob my #1 choice right now, but I'm visiting Emory and Wash U to keep an open mind. Hopefully I'll get my FAFSA info back quickly so i can make a decision.

I sent my michigan ED app around when you did, and I'm nervous about the Nov 15th deadline bc it's still not listed as "requested" on the lsac website. Same thing happening to you?
