How did you go about getting those sweet fee waivers? Did you apply through LSAC for those or did the school offer them to you after receiving your app?

Your numbers are obviously way better than mine, but I feel the same way about not having any debt and being torn between wanting to do something I think I love yet still wanting to be around when I eventually have kids. Good luck to you.
I'm an Eastern undergrad. I think I wrote on your lawschooldiscussion post a while back. I see that you did extraordinarily well on the LSAT. How did you like Vanderbilt? As for me, I'll be hoping for UK, but Chase is probably going to give me close to a full-tuition scholarship, so that would be hard to turn down.

Well, I plan to practice here, so it only makes sense to go to law school here. I have no plans to apply to anything other than these 4 schools. I am debt averse, so graduating without debt from a state school seems to be a good decision to me. Granted, I don't have an amazing LSAT, but I am just trying to be realisitc. I think I might even want to go home to practice law, which is in a tiny KY town, so I doubt anyone is going to care where I went to school. Obviously if I wanted to work in a large firm I would apply to more. Quality of life is more important to me than money alone. Good luck with everything!

Hey I've run into the same glitch when changing dates sometimes. I found the only way to fix it was to delete and add the application again.

To the poster above- there really isn't a process. Just be registered for the LSDAS and have the numbers schools are looking for.

Amazing that youre in and sooo early in the cycle.. congrats! Have they offered any money?
The dean wrote me an email asking me to call him, and then informed me over the phone. There wasn't any indication in the email of the nature of our imminent conversation. I wasn't really sure what to expect.

Congrats on Michigan. You just keep piling up the acceptances! So I know you love Vandy, but if you get into Harvard, what would you do? It's awesome you have those kinds of opportunities, I'm just happy to get into UK : ) It's nice to see a fellow KY public regional school student do so well.

If you don't mind me asking, why do you think you were waitlisted at Virginia? You seems like you have great numbers for them. I'm waiting to hear back, so it has me a bit nervous.
hahaha I don't think you have to worry about me being a gunner. ;) (you also don't have to worry about me being at emory at all if they yield protect the $$$ like i've heard- we'll see!)
I can't believe your numbers got you waitlisted at UVA. Oh well, I would go to Vandy over them anyway if I were you. Are you still thinking about UK if they give you a full ride? I am probably not going to get any money with my LSAT, but I am happy to be in and am about 95% sure I will be in Lexington next fall.

Congrats on the WUSTL acceptance, hopefully they'll give you enough money to entice you to come here...I suspect they'll give it a pretty good shot. Drop me a line if you have any questions about the school, best of luck with the rest of the cycle. Don't count yourself out at H or C yet, although I can't begin to understand why you're more interested in Columbia than UChicago :)

I can't guarantee I'd attend if accepted. Financial aid is going to play a huge role in my decision. Nevertheless, I'm incredibly excited. Also, not necessarily a clean sweep. I have some hidden apps that I'll disclose soon enough :)

well i live in brooklyn, so i'm leaning toward NYU, but scholarship offers from duke (my home state) or georgetown (<3 DC) would certainly hold a lot of sway. holding out hope for a call from harvard, but as the days go by that hope gets smaller and smaller. come on barack, make HLS show me some love!
I made a mistake by listing the scholarship money from W&L as being from WashU. I still haven't heard back from WashU about funding. PS: congrats on your acceptances!
