12/28 - Email from NW saying status changed online. Deferral stings a bit, but at least it's not rejection.

03/03 - Vanderbilt status checker went to "Decision Mailed"...so now I just get to play the waiting game till I get hopefully a large envelope.

03/06 - called to Notre Dame today b/c I'd noticed almost everyone's around mine went to decision a long time ago. Apparently they sent me a decision on 1/17 but it got lost in the mail. They'll be emailing me a scanned copy of whatever it is today - will update later.

03/10 - Small waitlist letter from Vanderbilt. Definitely holding out for that list!!!

03/18 - FINALLY called up to Notre Dame again after not getting that promised email. Waitlisted...yay...

03/25 - got depressingly small envelope from Penn in my mailbox this morning. I know it was a stretch, but it still sucks. My first flat-out rejection - and I'm hoping my last....

03/27 - got another depressingly small envelope from Chicago. I wasn't expecting an acceptance, but still stings.

03/28 - I woke up this morning to THE most GLORIOUS email from UT!!!!!!! I'm gonna be a Longhorn!! (probably). I just can't believe it.

I also got an email saying my status had changed at Virginia, so I'll be playing the waiting game till I get that in the mail.

04/02 - Waitlisted at Wash U. I'm feeling pretty OK that I only got rejected (so far) from my two highest-ranked schools.
