Additional info & updates

01/06: Grade request from Columbia.

12/17: I forgot to put my call up from Dean Tom a couple of weeks ago. Call from Dean Deal today. Norcal is locked up.

11/23: JR2!

11/20: In at UCLA via call from the Dean. 90K merit-based scholarship.

11/18: Under review at Georgetown. I had to call and badger Stanford, but I'm finally complete.

11/12 : JR1 went well.

11/9 : Under review at Berkeley. "Completion pending" at Columbia and still waiting on the Dean's letter at Stanford.

11/5 : JR1 scheduled for 11/12.

11/1 : Got my applications in in order of importance to me: Harvard went first, then Columbia, Chicago, Stanford, UVA, and UCLA next. Still working on expanding my essay for Berkeley. I've heard convincing arguments from sides, but I decided to include a short (one paragraph) and specific Why X in each of my PS's. It ties in to the topic addressed in my PS.

Fee Waivers
Thursday, April 02 2009 at 08:00 PM

Most are because of the LSAC fee waiver, with a few merit-based in the mix as well. Finally, for Yale and Stanford I filled out their special need-based fee waiver application, and they accepted it. Made for a application fee-less cycle which sure helped out a lot.
