Admitted Student Events

Suffolk - impressive facilities cosmetically; didn't realize the school's massive enrollment. Overall impressed - programs, faculty, and students more solid than expected
Interesting fact: +50% of the DA offices in MA are comprised of Suffolk alumni
(4/11/05 NOTE: I went back for an impromptu class visit to do more observation without the supervision. The Admissions accomondated my last minute requests. I've heard a lot of vague negative claims directed about Suffolk from the 2 other schools I've visited: unhappy students, faculty who don't care/aren't committed to teaching,)
4/8/2005
NESL - coincidently this program featured Justice Anthony Kennedy speaking to a 1L ConLaw class! NESL was a lot like a high school in layout. The classrooms were out-dated, even though recently renovated. The faculty were present and lively, even funny. Seems like a good value for the tuition and not too competitive. Not for me.
4/9/2005
Franklin Pierce - small, homey, and kind of creepy. Really geared toward patent bar qualified students. Library was abysmal, except for the IP library which is the "largest in the world". Concord is a pretty depressing place - several students were very open about their decision to come to FPLC and cloister themselves studying without distractions. Not for me.

Congrats on Suffolk. It was one of my Top 3 schools and they offered me a generous scholarship. Best of luck in the future.

Hey, congrats on Suffolk. I was also scared when I got the envelope b/c it was so thin...but, the suspense was worth it. I am from beantown but live in TX right now....the awful apartment search begins and I have a dog! See you in the fall.
