Additional info & updates

My fiancee is a 1L at Cardozo, so I'll be attending a school in NYC.

---------------------------------------

NYU! (Manila Envelope 2/7, Letter dated 2/1) Attended 3/3 Admitted Student Day. 4/25 Sent deposit in. 6/12 Got my loans taken care of, so NYU here I come!!

Call from the 'Doz on 2/9; letter received 2/16. Attended 2/28 Admitted Student Reception. Told of $30,000 annual renewable scholarship via email 3/1, letter 3/4; withdrew 3/27

UC-B - Accepted for about 10 mins 2/17 before Edward Tom sends out an email saying that I received the previous email in error. Then rejected 4/8. Oh well, I'll try to make it to a Bears football game at some point in my lifetime (if they play Army, Rutgers or Hofstra, that is)...

Fordham - 3/16 acceptance via online status checker, 3/21 letter acceptance, 3/30 withdrew

3/21 No go from Yale. That commute would've been a bitch for me and the Mrs. anyway (and come on, who really wants to move to Stamford, CT), so thanks for making my life easier, Yale!

Columbia 3/23 - the dreaded "You're not really waitlisted!...It's better than waitlist!...No really!" letter. Visited 4/11. Currently debating whether or not to wait them out. Received the "you're still not really waitlisted and you can remain not really waitlisted for another month if you'd like" letter 6/10. Decided it was time for the Columbia madness to end and sent in withdrawal reply 6/11.

Harvard 5/18 - Another long, miserable commute prevented! And Toby didn't even have to waste my precious time asking me about it. Thanks, Harvard!

I don't know what YofF is, but I'm a big fan of the Atlanta Falcons. Congrats on NYU! In all likelihood, I'll be seeing you in the fall!
