I also am a double-legacy at Michigan. Mom and Dad both attended the law school.

Called up the admissions offices at Stanford and Cornell to check on my dean's certifications. Stanford had it and told me I'm complete. Cornell said they probably have it but are really backed up with mail.

I also called North Carolina at Chapel Hill and they said that my residency info is in, and that my file should be complete, but they haven't checked it in yet.

Letter from Cornell that says I'm "on reserve." I realize this isn't technically a waitlist but, since they have rejected people, and since LSN has no option for this status, I'll just call it a waitlist for now. Even though it's not. Apparently the official waitlist doesn't even start until May.

Made it to the bitter end at the University of Michigan. I was finally released today. Via email, they said that everybody showed up for orientation, leaving no room for me. I tried.
